Introducing Our Cool New Holiday Seach Tools
Choose Properties With Clear Sea Views
With almost 16,000 holiday cottages, houses and apartments in stunning coastal locations, many of our properties have sea views, while others have sea glimpses or are located inland within a few miles of the coast. If uninterrupted ocean views are an absolute necessity, you can narrow down your search to ONLY see properties certified as having unobstructed sea vistas. Simply select the new Clear Sea Views filter when you search to see only properties where a sea view is assured.
Select the Maximum Driving Time
We’re lucky in the UK and Ireland, as a majority of people live within a few hours drive of the coast. However, some popular destinations like Cornwall and Northumberland represent a lengthy journey for most. If you’re flexible on where you’d like to visit, but you don’t fancy spending half of your holiday in the car, our Max Driving Time tool is here to help. Enter your postcode and select the maximum number of hours you’re willing to drive to get to your holiday destination. Then you’ll then ONLY see properties that you can get to within this time.
Search Multiple Locations
Can’t make up your mind where to go on holiday this year? If you’re torn between two of your favourite coastal destinations, you can now search for cottages in BOTH of them at the same time using the Multiple Locations tool. In fact, if you’re really struggling to choose the right location, you can add up to FIVE different destinations to search simultaneously! You can even search for properties within a certain mileage of multiple destinations or combine with Max Driving Time from home for complete control over where you want to go. For example, search for properties within five miles of Salcombe, Dartmouth, Brixham and Torquay to string together a list of properties available along an entire stretch of coast. This should be a real time-saver if you’re flexible on locations for your seaside holiday.
Try a Broad Date Search
If you only have a rough idea of when you would like to go away, rather than specific dates, our Broad Date search is going to make life much easier for you. This is particularly useful if you’re flexible on dates and want to find coastal properties within a certain period, such as the whole school summer holidays. Simply enter the earliest arrival date, the latest departure date and your preferred holiday duration and we will return all the possible options. We’ll also pick out the best value breaks in your date range for each seaside property. This eliminates the time-consuming task of manually checking week-by-week.
Conduct a Multi Party Search
This unique new tool is perfect if you want to holiday with family or friends but are open to, or would even PREFER, staying in two or more separate cottages located close to one another. This is perfect for large groups, multiple families or multi-generational families with grandparents who want to stay nearby but not necessarily in the same property. To conduct a Multi Party search, enter each party’s makeup and set a maximum distance between the properties. We will then include combinations of multiple properties in search results. We even tally up the prices so you can easily see how much it’s going to cost overall.
