If you’re planning a holiday by the sea for a large group, perhaps for several families or a big family get together, then our new multi-party tool will come in handy. This new search feature allows you to find a collection of properties that are close to one another, saving you time in locating the perfect coastal properties for a large group holiday.
Covid restrictions limited the number of people who were allowed to get together for special events including overnight stays at holiday homes. Since restrictions have eased, there has been a renewed enthusiasm for multi-family or extended family meet-ups for a holiday or weekend away by the sea. So the release of this tool comes at a good time to help book large group getaways in the post-pandemic period.
Why Use the Multi-Party Tool?
There are many potential use cases for our new multi-party tool. Some of the situations where we envisage the feature to be particularly useful are:

If you’re organising a getaway for a group of friends it can be a challenge to find a property big enough to accommodate everyone at an affordable price. There are some large group properties that sleep 8 or more people but they are often expensive and thin on the ground in popular destinations. The multi-party tool is also particularly useful for finding adjoining or nearby holiday homes for large family get-togethers, such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and other celebrations or just a long-awaited catch-up in a beautiful seaside destination.

Finding holiday homes to comfortably accommodate children, parents and grandparents can be a struggle. While it’s great to get all the family together for a coastal break, some families may prefer separate properties where they can have their own space while being conveniently close by for meal times and days out.

How do You Use the Multi-Party Tool?
To use the multi-party tool, all you need to do is select the desired destination and dates, then choose the multi-party tab when it comes to selecting the number of guests. You will then have the option to choose how many guests you want to accommodate in each individual property.
The tool will then return a selection of groups of properties in the chosen area, allowing you to choose the best combination for your party. The tool even adds up the total price for each group of properties so it’s easy to compare with other batches of houses in the same area.
