Just a short stroll away, the historic town of Marazion offers a great selection of pubs, restaurants, cafés, a deli and a take away all serving great food. Guests can enjoy a wander around the local art galleries and antique and curiosity shops. The town is famous for its wide sandy beach and the causeway leading to the magical St Michaels Mount. Guests can reach the mount on foot via the causeway at low tide, or by a small ferry boat during high tide. The area attracts visitors all year round, and the sandy beach is popular with both those wishing to relax, and with water sports enthusiasts for activities such as kayaking and kite surfing. The area has great access to the coastal paths which prove popular with walkers and ramblers. The marshes and wildlife lakes on the outskirts of the town attract birdwatchers from around the world. Just a few miles up the A30, wildlife enthusiasts will also love the wide Hayle Estuary Nature Reserve - a magnet for birds and wildlife.

The area benefits from good transport links including the train station in Penzance and a good local bus service. Penzance, ’the gateway to west Cornwall’, with its busy harbour and town, offers an outdoor swimming pool/lido and a wide promenade leading round to the quaint fishing port of Newlyn and the pretty scenic village of Mousehole. The location is perfect for exploring the legendary Land’s End, Sennen Cove and Lamorna Cove. Do not miss a visit to the Minack Theatre, cut into the cliff face with the ocean as back drop. Take the coastal train from nearby St Erth into St Ives, passing some of the area’s most beautiful beaches. For excellent days out, there are also a wide choice of gardens and National Trust properties. Beach 500 yards. Shop 500 yards, pub 250 yards and restaurant ½ mile.

"What a great place to stay. Views of St Michael's Mount were fabulous. Facilities provided at Sea Esta were brilliant."

Celia, May 2019

"Sea-Esta was an absolute delight to stay at! Amazing views, comfy bed and quiet relaxing location. We used public transport during our stay and the information in the welcome pack was really helpful in working out how to get around! It is a little far out of the centre of the town but in walking distance which was lovely given the amazing weather we had! Overall we had an amazing stay with only one issue. On arrival we had less than a roll of toilet roll left with no more left to replace it!"

Hannah, February 2019

"Had a fantastic stay at sea esta for my husband and I on our 25 th wedding anniversary , a hidden gem everything you need and more ,lovely hot tub and views .It was a real treat would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed."

"Totally loved it, very homely & welcoming, views of St Michaels were stunning, but, Marazion was short of amenities (which is no reflection on Sea Esta!) Would recommend Sea-Esta to Anyone! ;)"

Rob, October 2018

"Fabulous accommodation with extras. On arrival there was presecco, scones and cream. In the bathroom there was also help yourself basket of all bathroom items, milk in the fridge, including fresh yellow roses! Outside the decking, lighting and views of St Michael’s Mount were beautiful. The hot tub was so welcomed after being out all day. Absolutely lovely, something special. Inside was compact, cute, clean, modern and had everything you needed. We loved it. We had the most amazing week, mixture of weather, went to Minack Theatre (definitely a must) St Ives, Mousehall, Newlyn, Penzance and Sennen Cove, and obviously St Michael’s Mount! We cannot wait to return as we didn’t want to go home!"

Michelle, September 2018
