Reviews

“Had a great time for our short break; the weather was very windy (Storm Barra), it was December. However it was great to look out at the bay knowing you are very snug and very warm. The location is great for walking and the costal path which is right on your door step. The "Last Invasion Tapestry" at Fishguard was really fascinating.”

“Great location away. The views, the peace and quiet, no passing traffic all you see is the view and occasionaly walker. The accommodation is everything you need. (Just missing the extra cushions on the bed as it's a metal frame...guessing this is reduced due to covid...) We will return if staying in the area again..”

“In this day and age people would like a dishwasher disappointed as there was sufficient space for one.”

“The cottage itself is lovely, very airy and light, well equipped and clean. I brought my own towels as I read reviews that there was only one hand and bath towel each provided, which is fine. I like the fact that everything was on one level. However, there are a number of steps outside so not suitable for the less mobile. The area is very hilly, as the name The Peak suggests, so although there is a pubrestaurant in close proximity, it is a very steep climb up the hill. The view is really amazing. Great walks for the energetic, lots of ramblers and dog walkers pass by frequently, but still a peaceful location. Great place to get away for a while. The dog liked it too, especially the walks.”

“The view is to die for! Superb coastal vistas from a lovely annexe which is comfortable with a great wet roomshower. Personally we'd suggest a shower curtain to keep the rest of the bathroom floor dry but the shower was hot and invigorating. Larger bath towels perhaps Very good wifi connectionPerfect for walking the coastal path and the inland trails as well which are superbly well signposted.Good beaches within a half hour drive with Fishguard being a quiet, relaxed place. A number of takeaway restaurants at the bottom of the hill take the car, it's steep!Great, quiet location and well recommended.”
