“Just what the Dr ordered rest and relaxation with no distractions. Amazing views from the cottage. The highlight was feeding the badgers peanuts each night.”

“Everything we were hoping it to be. A stunning comfortable cottage on the foreshore in a fantastically remote part of the highlands. Clean, warm, inviting, much more spacious than the photos imply. We would not hesitate in recommending this property to others and hope to return ourselves in the future.”

“Perfect location, beautiful fully equipped house, super clean on arrival and very comfy to stay in”
— Pauline, 30 September 2021
“Fantastic cottage in a fantastic location if you want to be away from it all.Cottage is actually bigger than pictures show, with a large kitchen and good sized bedrooms. Views from front of cottage are spectacular but owner has also created a lovely secluded rear garden. All in all excellent”
— Ian, 25 September 2021
“Fantastic cottage, the most amazing sunroom at the front where you can happily and comfortably watch the tide come in and out, the sky, the sunsets, the local sheep! Comfortable, clean, all you need. Fantastic location for walks, quiet, scenery, relaxation.”
— Lorna, 7 July 2021
“We had a fabulous week at Macneils Croft. The location is amazing, looking across a tidal loch that changes constantly, with plenty of wildlife to enjoy. The cottage is spacious, warm and homely and the owner welcomed us on arrival with plenty of information about the area. You can escape from everything here, but village amenities are just three miles away and are very good. We would definitely recommend Macneils to anyone wanting peace and quiet.”

“A fabulous comfortable modernised croft in a fantastic location. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and we didnt want to leave at the end of our holiday!”
— David, 18 May 2021
“Lovely cottage with fabulous views. Spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. Conservatory is a winner. Gorgeous views front and back, even a garden with morning sun. Ardnamurchan is stunning and unspoilt. Acharacle cafe is good, shop less so and rather unwelcoming on our (single) visit.”

“An absolutely lovely property. Very cosy and warm and a wonderful wood burning stove to add to the cosy atmosphere. This property has everything you need and is even bigger than it looks in the photos. The views from the front are the best we've ever experienced from a cottage and great walks right from the door. Sean the owner is very friendly. We couldn't recommend this property highly enough. Thank you for a lovely stay, we hope to return!”

“Loved this Croft! House warm, spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. Sun lounge great for wildlife watching. Location is remote (perfect!) Shop and cafe 3 miles away had all we needed from the outside world.”
— Gina, 6 October 2020
“Excellent cottage, peaceful with spectacular views. We will definately return!”
— S, 28 September 2020
“Enjoyed our week here, beautiful location and sofas and comfy beds. A lovely garden to the rear of the property and the atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful where you could just sit and watch the tidal ebb and flow. Being regular cottage users in Scotland perhaps the only very minor suggestions we would have to offer would be we found the log fire difficult to keep in and a knife sharpener would also be a useful addition.”
— Dave, 21 September 2020
“Excellent cottage, very well equipped and fantastic setting. Perfect for a quiet relaxing break. Wonderful walking nearby.”
