Guest Comments

"The views from the house are stunning. The lovely sofa at the window is just made for sitting watching the sunset. The house is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Great outside area too which we made great use of in the lovely weather. We’d very much recommend staying here."

"Definitely one of the best holidays we've had. The weather was amasing which definitely helped but can't fault the house at all, it was excellent."

Tracy, July 2021

"Lovely cottage has everything you need, beds are very comfortable fantastic views you could sit all day looking out of the window. You can walk to the harbour but be aware the walk back is quite steep."

Pat, July 2021

"I could have sat and looked at the views all day everyday and never moved they are amazing. Extremely warm and comfortable property with all mod cons. Boot room great with having 2 dogs. Tarbert centre within walking distance although a steep walk back. Saw deer in the garden. The only slight negative was that the enclosed patio area was not secure enough to have our rescue pointer off the lead although totally fine for our other dog, just had to be on a long lead at all times. Don’t let this put you off! Tarbert is one of my favourite areas, with good restaurants, cafes and bars. Some lovely beaches within an easy drive, Westport and Southend being a big favourite with our dogs ...and almost deserted.Would definitely recommend!"

"Perfect location, lovely views, bit of a hill climb from/to town. Lovely local walks. The dog liked the garden but is very sloped and unfenced. She only disappeared once though. We had a relaxing stay in a lovely bungalow. Highly recommended."

"We all loved Devana Croft! We particularly loved the location - I have never stayed somewhere before where the views have been so captivating! This was our first visit to the area. We did not know what to expect - and were not disappointed. Tarbert itself is a small, unpretentious fishing village with places to eat and buy groceries. Look out for the Starfish which serves fantastic fish dishes. We also really appreciated buying our own local fish (just down the road from the Starfish) and enjoyed the local fish and chips! The area is beautiful and we have been recommending Devana Croft and Tarbert to anyone who will listen to us!!"
