Families or groups of friends will love this Georgian house with its large garden, direct access to the beach, fabulous sunsets and total privacy.. This spacious, detached house lies on the shore of Prestwick beach in Ayrshire. It is totally secluded yet only a 10-minute walk to the town centre with amenities including boutique shops, restaurants, bars and cafés. The 4-acre grounds include a private lawn tennis court, orchard and allotment garden. The large grassed lawn leads directly down onto the beach and boasts stunning views over the sea to the Isle of Arran, renowned for its fantastic sunsets. There is also a private hot tub with views over the sea.

Situated directly on the Ayrshire Coastal Path, a 100-mile long coastal walk with one of the finest panoramic coastlines in the British Isles. Crowned with a superb backdrop of the ever-changing profile of the mountains of Arran across the Firth of Clyde, this coastline is steeped in history and teeming with wildlife including red squirrels, deer, otters and seals; it is also a haven for birdwatchers. The River Ayr Way, a 40 mile ’source to sea’ walk is also easily accessed.

Inland, there are gardens and castles to visit and activities such as riding and golf to enjoy. The many golf courses include the world famous Royal Troon, Prestwick and Turnberry courses, both close to hand, with Turnberry also having a fantastic spa and outdoor centre. Culzean Castle (National Trust Scotland) is spectacular and is Ayrshire’s most popular tourist attraction.

The islands of Cumbrae, Arran and Bute are all easily reached for a day out while day trips to Ireland can be taken from Cairnryan. The pretty towns of Troon and Ayr are only a short drive and Prestwick town has a very good rail service for a trip to the cosmopolitan city of Glasgow and also historic Edinburgh. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is an hour’s drive and is well worth a visit. Beach 50 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.. Ground Floor:

"Bentfield is an attractive house in a stunning location. The property provides a sense of isolation that is ideal of you want complete relaxation, but it is within easy reach of amenities. There are sea views from many of the rooms; watching the sunset from the lawn or the jacuzzi was a popular activity when the weather was kind. There is much to explore within the grounds, the adjacent coastline and within the house itself. The owners have put much effort into anticipating clients' needs and assistance is available close by if necessary. It was quite refreshing that there weren't notices all around the property advising on what can and can't be done; as the owner of 2 dogs we endeavour to get them to behave well but they do like to be close to us. They said that they had a great holiday too!"

"You will be able to choose any one of the following three options if we or the accommodation provider cancel your booking, or if you cancel your booking because UK government public health measures mean that it is unlawful to travel to or make use of the accommodation you booked:
Full refund - we will refund you the full amount you have paid for your booking.
Transfer to a later date or different accommodation - subject to availability, we will help you move your booking to a later date or even a new location or accommodation with no admin fees, but please be aware that if the cost of your new accommodation is higher than your original booking, then you’ll need to pay the difference.
Choose an e-voucher to rebook your holiday online - you can request an e-voucher for the amount you have previously paid for your booking. You can then use it to book a new holiday online or towards another existing booking, without having to call us. Vouchers issued in 2020 are valid until 31st December 2020 and can be used on holidays departing before 31st December 2021.

If you choose to cancel your holiday before your balance due date, then we will waive your liability for the remainder of the balance and no further amount will be collected from you. If you choose to cancel on or after your balance due date, then you will need to pay the cancellation charges (according to the number of days before the start of your holiday) as set out in the cancellation charges table which you can find in your booking conditions, as well as any applicable booking fees, admin charges or insurance premiums that you owe.
