“We had the most wonderful holiday at Jill. The owners are very friendly, helpful and really strive to make your holiday enjoyable. The recommendation to enjoy a guided wild swim in Loch Sunart was really appreciated and worth every penny. The property itself is a thing of great beauty. It was immaculate. The location is breathtaking. The accommodation is very spacious, it is also very warm even in November! I'd recommend lighter clothing for indoors. The sofa is extremely comfortable and you could spend hours gazing out the massive glass frontage. The hot tub is an added bonus which you could also spend hours in admiring the views. There is loads to do in the area if you love the outdoors, the whole area is stunning. There were a couple of little things that I'd have liked and am sure my feedback has been taken on board. Beds are a subjective thing as everyone prefers different levels of firmness. Personally I'd like something a bit softer for my painful body and feel that would have helped me sleep better. Would that stop me going back to Jill Definitely not, I loved the whole experience and would recommend Jill to others.”

Rob and Justine were perfect hosts and theres nothing that hasnt been thought of .and all is provided for a more than perfect holiday. With a wide variety of places to see and lots to do its an ideal place to stay and enjoy what this fabulous area has to offer. Very highly recommended.”

“A beautiful place to stay, very relaxing. We never tired of the view, and we were particularly lucky with amazing weather. Still thinking about the view now. The house is spacious, well equipped and modern. The area has some fantastic places to visit, and there is some great (and detailed) info on local walks. Rob is very helpful and on hand if you need him. We loved every minute and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it.”

“Lovely property, in a quiet location with stunning views across the Loch. The property was well equipped and we particularly loved the been to cup coffee machine, telescope, unique artwork done by the owners daughter and nightly visits from the neighbouring Pine Martens.Jill is situated in a lovely area, with lots of nice walks, views and beaches Sanna bay was particularly stunning, helped by the fantastic weather we had.The owners were friendly, and on hand with suggestions for days out etc if needed. There are a few small, local shops close by, but would suggest making sure you arrive with some supplies as Fort William is the closest large town.”

“Fantastic house in a wonderful remote location, not a huge amount of local amenities, especially at this time, but that was what we expected and enjoyed. The local shop was well stocked, there was a nearby restaurant which we didn't try. The house was well designed and very comfortable with fantastic views and for us the real bonus was the wildlife with a pine marten that visited every day amazing to see one so close, inches away on the other side of the glass doors. Also saw an otter on the beach just a short stroll away. The area is amazing, the holiday was everything we hoped it would be and more. Great hosts who were very helpful and friendly.”

“This is a fabulous holiday home. The views are incredible and to sit in the hot tub, even in light drizzle looking out on to what appears to be a wilderness is magical. We've marked it high for local amenities because thankfully there aren't any unless you count stunning views and hardly seeing anyone for hours, bliss. The hosts are perfect in being on hand but in no way obtrusive and the information on walks was excellent.”

“This is a unique house in a great location with fantastic views. It is very peaceful although the village of Strontian with local amenities is only a 520 minute drivewalk away. It is very comfortable and has all of the facilities you would expect from 5 star accommodation. The owners were very helpful and on hand to answer any questions. It is an excellent base for walking and there is extensive detailed information on local walks and eateries.”

“We had a wonderful week in this unique property. The setting had wonderful views especially enjoyed from the hot tub! The house was very well equipped and the owner helpful and friendly. There were interesting walks locally and there were plenty of interesting places to visit a little further afield, the Isle of Mull and the Jacobite Express can be recommended. There was plenty of information in the property for places to visit and we enjoyed fascinating chats with Rob the owner on Jill's construction, soon to be joined by Jack! An added bonus was the regular visit from the pine martin! It was a great holiday and we can highly recommend a stay in Jill.”
