Take a boat trip in search of dolphins, puffins and whales along the Moray coast from Macduff.

The area is part of the National Cycle Network, with several sections designated traffic-free for relaxed cycling for all ages. The Banffshire coast is a haven for fishing, with good freshwater fishing in the lower beats of the River Deveron and excellent sea fishing. Along the coast are smokehouses and fish shops, as well as quality seafood restaurants. Play golf at one of the many good courses in the area including Duff House Royal in Banff itself, or follow the Whisky Trail inland, through amazing scenery. Beach 200 yards. Shop 200 yards (seasonal), pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Guest Comments

"The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were not expecting the patio to overlook the children's playpark and part of the adjacent caravan park, but this was actually a plus as we could people watch whilst sitting outside at the table with our pre-dinner drinks. We really enjoyed the local coastal walks especially the Portsoy to Sandend one with all the wild flowers and amazing scenery. Even with some Covid19 restrictions still in place we had a delicious meal out at the Banff Springs Hotel and can definitely recommend the fish suppers from Rockfish Fish and Chip Shop in Whitehills. We would have no hesitation in recommending Seascape and hope to return ourselves sometime in the future."

"Bright airy cottage overlooking the sea, play park and caravan site. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable living room and bedrooms.30 minutes walk to Banff or Whitehills along the coastal path. We ate at the Indian Garden, Seafield Arms , Knowe hotel, Admiral Arms and Cullen Bay hotel and had very good meals at all of them. The Loft at Cullen and Boyndie visitor centre were great for snacks."

"Enjoyed our holiday very much, had to travel for large supermarket, but we did expect that as we have holidayed in Scotland many times. Owners of our accomodation are very thoughtful as we were celebrating a birthday and wedding anniversary during our stay which they left cards and gifts,."

"This is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. It was so well equipped and the cleanest place we have been to. The owners, knowing it was our 25th wedding anniversary left us a card, champagne and cake which was a fantastic surprise. We look after my 91 year old Dad at home and hadn’t had a break for 1 1/2 years therefore we needed to be somewhere we could relax but continue to self isolate. It was so comfortable, quiet and relaxing with wonderful beach walks on your doorstep. We will definitely be booking again. I would give this a 5* rating."
