"Ben View is a fabulous, luxury home. It's spacious, modern, warm, comfortable and immaculatly clean. The views of Fort William are best viewed reclining on the sunny patio on the luxurious outdoor furniture. We would love to go back. Ben View really is an exceptional place and a real home from home. I cannot recommend it highly enough"

"A perfect holiday cottage! Ben View is comfortable, clean, practical, spacious and superbly equipped! It boasts fabulous views over the loch to Fort William and is well placed for visiting places such as Neptune's Staircase, Glenfinnan, Sanna beaches, Mull, Mullaig and all around the Ben Nevis region. We did not meet the cottage owners due to Covid but Dorothy was in touch by text and was kind and very helpful. There is a single-lane road which leads to the cottage and it takes about 15 mins to drive up this to meet the main road into Fort William - there are plenty of passing places and it's not a busy road (and it's good practice for the many similar roads in the area!) There is a foot ferry just up the road in Camusnagaul if you want to get to Fort William quickly."

"This is an amazing bungalow, an absolute home from home. It is so well equipped and has everything you could possibly ask for and more. The views are stunning, no matter what the weather and the hospitality, even though fully COVID compliant, could not have been better."

John, August 2021

"Absolutely fabulous cottage, everything that you could need in a beautiful home from home. Stunning views of fort William and ben nevis. Quite, peaceful, but plenty to do in the area."

Sharon, July 2021

"Lovely cottage, spotless with wonderful views of the Loch and Ben Nevis. A warm welcome on arrival from Dorothy and Charlie. The welcome basket was spot on to start our holiday. The weather was kind and we visited Mallaig, Neptunes Staircase, Ben Nevis, Isle of Sky, Glen Coe and the Finnan Viaduct. Just wish we had been there for two weeks instead of one."

"Ben View cottage is a delightful little house with absolutely stunning views of Ben Nevis and Fort William across the expanse of Loch Linnhe. The property comes fully equipped with everything you need from self catering accommodation. The owners, Charlie & Dorothy, have made this place welcoming and charming and offers comforts and familiarity reminiscent of staying at your mother or grandmother's house. Though the journey to the property along the A861 does need some skill in negotiating, the single track does have are plenty of lay-bys along the route where one can pull over to allow on coming traffic. This property is in a great location to do local sight seeing and visit many of the wonderful attractions of the Highlands; for example the Jacobite Train or the Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery along with other places such as Loch Ness or the sandy bays and beaches near Morar. And if you wish to pop over to Fort William there is a regular ferry boat service less than half a mile from the house which runs throughout the day to take you there and back for just £2 each way.We would thoroughly recommend this facility to anyone wanting a quiet get away to the Scottish Highlands. Will & Paddy"

"What a beautiful cottage! The pictures don't do it justice. The views are also stunning and we have never spent so much time on holiday just enjoying the view. There are some fabulous walks right on the doorstep, as well as some nice things to do nearby. The cottage owner Doroty was lovely as well and made sure we knew nothing was too much to ask."

Christine, May 2021

"Ben View cottage has everything you need and more for a relaxing break. Spacious, well equipped and so homely. The owner is very friendly and happy to answer and deal with any queeries you may have. Location is stunning and, weather permitting, the view across to Fort William and Ben Nevis beautiful. Local wild life are fun to spot and watch. From the cottage and surrounding areas are some lovely walks . Local amenities are about a 45 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend this cottage to all."

Paul, November 2020

"Ben View is an amazing place. It's a beautiful road to get to it with amazing scenery and the bungalow itself is just wonderful and much bigger than it looks. It's warm and cosy and extremely clean. Everything you need is there and the owner is a treasure. We had fabulous views to look at and the local wild life is amazing. You do need to shop at Fort William for food supplies but that is no trauma at all. We had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend Ben View."

Debbie, November 2020

"I can't complement this property enough, it was everything we hoped for and more, Dorothy and Charlie have ensure that the guest want for nothing and that they are surrounded by comfort and beauty. you do have to be organised, there aren't any local shops, but what there is is, stunning views, peace and quiet, the most magnificent starry sky's and a lovely cosy cottage. we will definitely be back. thank you so much for the hospitality the welcome goodies and the attention to detail. this really is a hidden gem!"

Rebecca, September 2020

"Our second stay at Ben View and already booked again for next year. Fantastic bungalow in the best location for relaxation and touring The Highlands with outstanding views of Ben Nevis. Extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean too. Great contact from the owner ( now by email and text message due to social distancing rules ). Ten out of ten for everything."

Keith, September 2020

"Ben View has got to be the best holiday cottage I have stayed in, Warm, cosy, very clean and with everything you are likely to want. With fantastic views and great hosts. The only minor downfall being the 10 mile single track road to the cottage making it a 40 minute drive to Fort William, but that is the price to pay for such a beautiful quiet location."

Charlie, September 2020

"Great place will be back"
