"Came for a short break to celebrate my 50th birthday. We've been to the bay several times and stayed at other cottages/ b and b's, Cliff Head is definately one of the best. Absolutely beautiful. Views are breathtaking. The cottage has everything you could need. Clean cosy and just perfect. Thank you for letting us spend time in your home. We will be back"

Jane and David - Bedfordshire, January 2019

"Have absolutely loved staying at the cottage for our long weekend and enjoyed some valuable mum and daughter time. Really enjoyed the views especially the loo with a fab view! Brought some logs for a fire and enjoyed the cosy evenings watching it go dark over the bay. Walked 9.5 miles from the door of the cottage up to station car park and enjoyed the cinder track/old railway line and walked to Ravenscar. A very easy route to follow. Grabbed refreshments in the visitor centre then started the cliff walk to Robins Hood Bay and the last part along the beach."

Angela and Sophie - Lancashire, January 2019

"Superb Cottage. Well appointed and everything works. The views are amazing and watching the sun rise over Raven Hall was memorable. We made good use of the Cleveland way and the cinder track in both directions."

"We had a fantastic week in Cliff Head . Really lovely cottage for a quiet getaway. Everything in one cottage you could want and so warm and cosy. The views are captivating and we never got bored of watching the sea! Walks around Grosmont and Goathland are stunning at this time of year. Boggle hole for a hot chocolate is a must. Adrian and Des, May 2017

"We had a brilliant four nights staying in Robin Hood's Bay. The cottage was brilliant and perfect for our short break. The weather on the other hand was not always so brilliant and although we had some brilliant sun we also had some not so beautiful hail. Staying so close to the sea was much enhanced by the sound of the crashing waves and the screeching seagulls. Watching the seagukls family politics on next doors roof was very entertaining. The Bay Hotel is brilliant with great pub grub and beer. Thanks very much."

Mike and Sarah, April 2017

"This cottage and Robin Hood's Bay are definitely worth the long trip from Germany. Cliff Head is a cosy, well-equipped cottage with splendid views. You're so close to everything! Especially enjoyed the walks to Whitby and to the seal colony in Ravenscar. Have gone shopping in Helmsley and also loved the Blues night at the Grosvenor Hotel and the Ghost walk here in Robin Hood's Bay. We hope to be back some time! Thank you!"
