Island View is a Grade II listed, recently refurbished luxury holiday let on Lymington High Street within a beautiful Georgian building and with a gated entrance and secure parking. The property offers spacious accommodation and has been furnished and equipped to a high standard providing everything needed for a self-catering, comfortable stay in this lovely town. oached up a flight of stairs from the parking area and across the south facing roof terrace which offers stunning views of the Solent and Isle of Wight. Sit and relax here, a glorious sun trap, (there is a large, wall mounted parasol for those who like the shade) ideal for alfresco dining.

The Georgian market town of Lymington has a wide range of shops and boutiques, all within walking distance of Island View holiday let accommodation, as well as having the benefit of world renowned sailing facilities with two large marinas and moorings on the river and at the Town Quay. Every Saturday there is a large and vibrant Charter Market which runs the entire length of the High Street, you can watch the activity from the luxury of your own holiday rental, all happening on the doorstep.

Getting around:

Lymington offers a railway branch line link to the New Forest village of Brockenhurst (approximately 15 minutes' ride), which is some 5 miles to the north by road, and to the Isle of Wight ferry at Lymington Pier. Miles of open forest suitable for riding, cycling and walking are easily accessed just a few moments away from apartment. There is also an open topped bus tour that stops right outside the accommodation on the High Street. The tour will take you all around the forest and as far as the lovely village of Beaulieu where the famous motor museum is located.

There are bus services from the doorstep to:

  • Southampton
  • Bournemouth and Christchurch
  • Beaulieu - motor museum, village and Abbey
  • Hythe - the longest pier railway and ferry to Southampton
  • Have a day off from driving, let the bus take you on a tour of the area and put your feet up!

Island View's accommodation is fully equipped, all you need to bring with you is your toothbrush! This self-catering holiday rental has everything - and more, and we take a pride in looking after it ourselves and want all our visitors to have a relaxing and enjoyable time.

Living Room: Sofa and two armchairs, dining table with four chairs, nest of tables, lamps, coffee table, 42" smart TV with EE recording box and wifi connection.

Kitchen: Comprehensively equipped with hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso Coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There is a full range of cooking equipment, glasses and crockery. Breakfast table and chairs, Dab internet connectable radio.

Hallway: Understairs coat hooks and shoe storage.

Sun Terrace: View of the Solent and Isle of Wight. Table and four chairs ideal for alfresco dining (outdoor glasses and crockery provided), wall mounted sun parasol, wall mounted foldaway Brabantia washing line and pegs.

Bedroom One: Super King size bed, with storage drawers, which will unzip to make two full sized singles, double wardrobe, tall chest of drawers, dressing table with seating and mirror, bedside tables with touch control lamps. Towel horse and hair dryer. High quality bedding is supplied.

Bedroom Two: King size bed with storage drawers, bedside tables with touch control lamps, built in hanging wardrobe, large chest of drawers, dressing table with mirror and seating. Towel horse. High quality bedding supplied.

Bathroom: Full sized bath with power shower over, shower screen. WC and wash basin. Storage units. Heated towel rail. Towels supplied.
