“We booked laverick steps as our honeymoon destination and were not disappointed. As soon as we walked through the front door I knew we had picked something special. It was so cosy and quaint from the livingkitchen to the narrow spiral stairs, I never tired of laughing going up and down them. The first floor is the home to a huge bathroom, with lovely tiled decor and a beautiful full length mirror. Up the second spiral stair case to a perfect omen plan bedroom with ample room and windows to the front, side and back. The view from the from window over the harbour is a view I will never tire ofspectacular!!!!Only a five minute walk to the town centre with an abundance of cafes, fish and chip shops and lovely little shops. We were lucky enough to get our car parked right outside the property on the second day but again there was ample parking only a stones throw away some free and some you had to pay for..not a big deal when you were in such a beautiful place as Whitby. Im sure we will return ”

“Excellent Cottage.Well equiped and spotless. It's in a great location and the views from the bedroom over the harbour are lovely, it's a nice touch to have the 2 stools to sit and watch the view. The steps are steep, but manageable. We were fortunate to get (free) parking on the street outside at the first attempt, but I imagine it could be frustrating if spaces are not available as they are not empty for long. We decided to leave the car all week and used our feet or public transport.Lots to do nearby, we'd recommend the NYMR steam railway and the Hop OnHop Off bus tour.”
