"What a beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. We can’t recommend highly enough. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, comfortable and so cosy. Spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Location is just perfect with the beach less than 100 yards from the front door. Harbour is great to swim in, and there are some amazing cliftop walks, Hackley Bay being a must!!Would recommend and would visit again without question."

"A charming and well appointed cottage with pretty much everything you need for a holiday and sea views from some rooms. In a lovely location in the village of Collieston. It's not far from Aberdeen but off the beaten track, the nearest shop and pub is a few miles away. Being an old property you should be aware of the steep staircase and the final narrow lane leading to the cottage which might not suit everybody. There was no mobile phone reception in the cottage but WiFi was very good if I'd really wanted to check emails. The beach is sheltered by the harbour and is great for families, we saw people wild swimming most days. Not far away are the seal beach at Newburgh and the Bullers of Buchan where we spotted Puffins and Dolphins. Lots of National Trust castles across the North East and not far to the lighthouse museum at Fraserburgh.A great location and property for a relaxing holiday."
