“Perfectly adequate flat overlooking a beautiful estuary. Take binoculars with you! Local amenities are limited, evening meals are in short supply (if you can find one open) and many shops close during the week due to staff shortages, we were advised. Useful having Tesco within walking distance. Fortunately the flat was well equipped for self catering, although that wasnt our original plan! Perfectly located for the Ffestiniog Railway (great fun but not cheap) and Port Meirion (highly recommended!). End of June, nowheres very busy although I suspect that will change as Summer proceeds. Shame theres no wifi, I think I would have sorted that.”

“Lovely location and a well appointed flat. The view across to the Cob, the Ffestiniog Railway as well as the estuary are stunning from the French window and balcony. Will definately be back.”

“This was a fantastic location. It was very peaceful and we could hear the gentle call of birds at night when leaving the balcony door open. There was almost no light pollution outside and it was very restful. The view outside was everchanging with the estuary filling and emptying during the day and a wide range of birds to watch and listen to. We could also see and hear the steam trains going along the Cob and went on an enjoyable journey on one. We could see part of the harbour from the bedroom window. There were lots of interesting places to visit locally including Portmerion which was very near. We also enjoyed exploring the peninsula and trips to places which included Beddgelert, Caernarfon, Anglesea and Harlech. Our host was very kind and helpful and the accommodation was very comfortable and clean.”

Lyn was very friendly and helpful when we met her to collect the keys. Great that the car parking space is just outside the flat. Ideal location to visit all of north wales. We really enjoyed our stay.”
