Guest Comments

"Beautiful state of the art barn conversion in an idyllic location overlooking open countryside yet only a few minutes from Pwllheli. The cottage was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Ideally placed for exploring The Lynn peninsula, Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey, Portmeirion and lots more. Karen (the Owner) was very helpful and obliging and she lived next door. We spent a week here and experienced two whole days of very wet weather so the cottage was the perfect place to retreat to, the underfloor heating kept it very cosy and warm. This has to be one of the cleanest best equipped cottages we have stayed in and we would highly recommend it. Thank you Karen for a wonderful stay."

Mr Findley, June 2021

"Idealistic location for a wonderful barn conversion built to a very high standard. Great countryside views from the front door. The property is well equipped and very comfortable for a couples stay. "

Mr Fiske, June 2021

"A taste of luxury in a beautiful tranquil setting. I loved it so much I immediately booked a second visit before the first trip had even ended. The host is very helpful when needed, super friendly and welcoming and balances it perfectly with the utmost respect for privacy. From the views, to the sauna, to the open fire and fantastic little touches all around the bran, this really feels like an exclusive little gem. My new home away from home. "

Miss McDaid, May 2021

"What a great week! Can't believe how lucky we've been with the weather - sunny if a little windy. Some beautiful walks around the coast path, lazy coffees and a beer or two! Portmeirion almost deserted on a March Monday - fabulous without the crowds and then returning home to this gem. So comfortable, convenient and stylish. Thank you so much - we will be back"

"What an absolute delight this cottage is. We loved our 1 week stay here even though the weather was a bit down, we loved every bit of the place and the stunning views made the cottage stand out in our travel diaries. Karen was very helpful and understanding throughout our stay. A perfect spot for all the stunning beaches and nature spots. We loved exploring the place. All in all a perfect spot for a tranquil holiday. "

"Thank you for a fantastic week in a perfect cottage, We have hd a wonderful time exploring the local towns and villages and walking part of the coastal path. It has been so lovely to come home made up after enjoying our evening curled up in front of the wood burner. Thanks again."

"Thank you for a lovely stay in your wonderful barn conversion. We'd come to walk and explore the area, also to read, walk and sit in front of a wood burning stove. The weather was deeply enjoyed. Thank you for a warm welcome. We hope to be back!"

Alistair and Gillian, November 2018

"A lovely peaceful and well equipped holiday cottage. The log burner in the evening was most welcome. The train to Snowdonia was a must and those brave enough to walk were still able to wave and smile to us. Unfortunately, right at the summit we were in cloud so missed the incredible view. National trust have several properties worth a visit. Thank you Karen - we have enjoyed our stay. "

Dave and Pam, Somerset, October 2018

"What a place! We have had the most amazing time here. This place is just perfect and has everything you need. The sauna was a godsend after climbing Snowdon and the log burner in the evening with a movie was lovely. It's been a wonderful way to spend our 2nd year anniversary. Thank you for sharing this place with us and we will look forward to coming back soon. "

Heather & Phil, Cambridge , September 2018

"The property was fantastic. The location - relaxed quiet and in a beautiful setting. The fact that you were within walking distance of the town and beach too was a bonus and just a few minutes away from a golf course. We didn't think that we would use the sauna but we did and loved it. It helped the aches after golf and long walks. Having the smart TVs was great - we logged on to Netflix and watched a movie one night after a long day of coastal walking. The owner and her friend went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a great trip. Great property - we didn't want to leave. Everything at the property was 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

Mr Chris Ashcroft, September 2018
