The Bolthole is an outstanding Grade II listed holiday home, just a five minute stroll to the bach and the iconic Bamburgh Castle. The two bedroom cottage is one of three properties in a quiet location with secure gated parking. Interiors are stunning… beautifully decorated and furnished throughout with a fabulous open plan living space, contemporary kitchen and stylish bathrooms.

The Bolthole is well located for Bamburgh’s shops, cafes and pubs, all just a short walk away. Don’t miss the Grace Darling Museum and of course the iconic Bamburgh Castle. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to view sea birds and grey seals from Seahouses (3 miles) and Holy Island and the nature reserve of Budle Bay are both a short drive away.

Open plan kitchen: living room and dining area: microwave, large fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, electric oven, ceramic induction hob, dishwasher. Sofa and armchairs. Dining table and chairs.

First floor

Master bedroom: king size bed,

Ensuite: shower, WC, wash hand basin.

Bedroom 2: zip and link beds (either two singles or one king size bed - please state your preference when booking).

Ensuite: shower, WC, wash hand basin.

Entertainment: Smart TV, radio, iPod dock.

For families: travel cot and high chair available.

Outside: enclosed front patio garden with a selection of tables and chairs and a further enclosed rear patio garden with gated access to Front Street.

Parking: secure parking for 1 vehicle - 2nd space by request (electric gate access).

General: WiFi. bed linen and towels provided. Central heating.

Pets: pets welcome. Note - you will need to pay an additional pet fee and you must not leave dogs unattended in the property.

Accidental Damage Deposit: you may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver for this property. Where applicable we will contact you in good time before your holiday with further details and to take payment.

Please Note: Charging of electric vehicles is prohibited at this property. There are charging points at Seahouses Main Car Park or The Purdy Lodge off the A1.

“The Bolthole couldn't be in a more convenient position in Bamburgh. Wydenwell's () is almost next door, and importantly they do a very good flat white! Excellent butcher and general store, but no cashpoint in town. You will need to need to bring essentials if you plan to stay local. The beach is 5 minutes away. A beautiful, wide, sandy beach with some interesting rock formations, if you like that kind of thing. The house itself is very comfortable, and wellequipped. We had a small maintenance problem on the first day, which was quickly fixed. Bamburgh is a friendly place, and not too busy when we were there at the end of April. Perfect relaxing holiday. Enjoyed a takeaway from the Lobster Pot. Good menu and delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you ”
