The cottage can sleep seven people in four bedrooms made up of two doubles (one with an ensuite), one twin and one single. The cottage also contains a family bathroom, a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an open fire. To the outside of the cottage is a lawned garden to the side and off road parking for up to six cars. With stunning coastal views from the cottage and with fabulous walking available close by, Allihies Lodge is a wonderful cottage, no matter what you are looking for from your holiday.

About the area: The village of Allihies in County Cork overlooks Ballydonegan Bay with its magnificent quartz strand, a direct result of the mining era. The village lies on The Ring of Beara, a tourist trail of about 195 kilometres (121 miles) circumnavigating the peninsula. Attractions nearby include Dursey Island, which is linked to the mainland by a Cable Car and is the only such ride in Europe to cross over water. There are also many coastal and countryside walks and quaint villages to enjoy.
