Guest Comments

"A very pleasant well appointed terraced house within easy walking distance of shops, the harbour and beach. The stairs are challenging once you reach a certain age, particularly coming down. A bannister/rope on the left coming down would have made a big difference."

Duncan, May 2021

"Very pleased with cottage, and help from caretaker and owner solving small problem"

Lesley, April 2021

"A lovely little cottage. Echoing what other people said about parking but if you drive around you can always find a space nearby. Gas fire lovely. Plenty of room for us and our little dog. Well kept garden. Spotlessly clean. Recommend"

Lorna, October 2020

"Everything about this cottage was excellent the only downside was the parking"

Paul, October 2020

"An excellent little house, very well located and containing everything you could want for a lovely stay....WE LOVED IT !!"

Gary, September 2020

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Shingle Cottage and Whitstable. Everything is within walking distance."

Secluded and self-contained
Many accommodations are in rural locations, away from the hustle and bustle of towns and cities. Most accommodations are self-contained (many with gardens) making social distancing easier and providing outside space.  Please read accommodation descriptions fully to ensure they meet your location and accommodation requirements."
