Located just ½ mile from Seahouses beach, this spacious holiday home is perfect for a family break at the seaside.. Ground Floor:

Living/dining room: With Freeview TV, DVD player, Wii, Retro Arcade Console, double sofa bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements) and patio doors leading to garden.

Sitting room: With Sky Q Smart TV (entertainment package) and PlayStation 3.

Kitchen: With breakfast area, electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.. First Floor:

Bedroom 1: With double bed.

Bedroom 2: With twin beds.

Bathroom: With shower over bath (no toilet).

Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking. . Waggy Tails is a welcoming, pet-friendly property located in the heart of the traditional fishing village of Seahouses. With two separate living rooms, both situated on the ground floor, this semi-detached property is deceptively spacious. The cosy sitting room leads to the kitchen, where on arrival, guests will find complementary teas and coffee, and also giving direct access to a fully enclosed garden. The living room leads to the main dining area where sliding patio doors enhances its bright and airy ambience. Both bedrooms are on the first floor along with the bathroom and convenient separate toilet.

The main street of Seahouses is within easy walking distance where there is a small supermarket and a range of other local shops along with several places to eat. The golf course is on the links close by and horse riding can be arranged less than a mile inland. A gentle stroll brings you to the harbour where boat trips to the Farne Islands, famous for its puffins and seal colony, are a popular visitor attraction.

Two miles south is the beautiful golden sands of Beadnell Bay, very popular with water sports enthusiasts, whilst 3 miles up the coastline is the picture perfect village of Bamburgh, and the dramatic castle is well worth a visit. A few miles inland is the historic market town of Alnwick where there are a wide array of amenities available.

Waggy Tails is a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful 20-mile stretch of Heritage coastline recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

"We love staying here at Waggy Tails! It is our second stay and our new favourite cottage in Seahouses. It is homely and very well equipped. It has a driveway which will fit one car and on road parking is usually available too. Parking used to be my main anxiety about hiring a cottage in this town but this property takes that away. It has two bathrooms, a downstairs shower room with WC and upstairs bath with shower over the top and a separate WC. Downstairs you have two living rooms with TV, only one has Sky TV but the other still has free view and gaming consoles (although we didn't use them). The whole house is spacious and roomy. It has an enclosed garden area with AstroTurf and a summer house.Overall, a lovely place to stay and we will be coming back as much as possible. Thank you Waggy Tails for a great stay."

"This was our first visit to Seahouses/Northumberland and it won't be our last!Waggy Tails is the perfect base whether you are a family,a family with a dog or just a couple.The house is spacious,very well laid out and the X-box/Playstation/Wii and good old fashioned Star Wars Arcade game were a great bonus!!We didn't really have the weather for it but the rear garden with Summer house would be a great place for a Barbie or just just sit with a beer or wine on a warm evening.The house is very Dog friendly and has pretty much everything you'll need for a great stay.A great little touch,as well as the welcome pack,was the delivery of Milk,Eggs and (very nice) Yoghurts on the Monday.Totally unexpected but gratefully received!Seahouses itself is a nice little coastal village with two brilliant beaches.The beaches are very reminiscent of Devon/Cornwall but much,much quieter with fantastic views to the Farne Islands.A boat trip to the Farne Islands is a must.We went with Serenity and had a fantastic trip.In the height of nesting season it would be even better but we got so close to the Grey Seals it was worth the trip for that alone.Great part of the Country,great little house.We will be back!"

"We would recommend Waggy Tails. It isn't a pretty holiday cottage but once you get past that, it is a great place to stay. Well thought out, lots of added details like biscuits, milk, shower gel, reading glasses, even a sleep spray by the bed!The garden is totally secure for dogs (our cocker can test any garden!!). The village is about 5 mins walk. It is well equipped and spacious. We would book again."
