There is always something happening in the town but it is possibly most famous for its links with Bram Stoker’s Dracula. There are many shops and bazaars hidden within the cobbled back streets from jewellery to goth shops, and is an increasingly popular foodie scene with everything from top class restaurants and bistros to traditional, award-winning fish and chip shops. To top it all off, there is a 3-mile stretch of beach along the historic coastline, once famous for pirates and smugglers and now popular with people searching for fossils.

Heading outside of Whitby you will find yourself right in the natural beauty of the North York Moors. Falling Foss Waterfall, Roseberry Topping and Sutton Bank are just some of the beautiful natural attractions in the area. It is a fantastic place for walkers and cyclists or enjoy a ride from Whitby into Heartbeat Country and Goathland which appeared in the famous TV show. Guest Comments

"The access is a bit "quirky" but not problematic. I can imagine that parking outside might be an issue at busy times, but this to be expected in such a pretty little seaside village, which has managed to retain its quaint charm. Puzzle Corner is a lovely, comfortable venue, with breathtaking views from both floors. There was lots of hand sanitizer and we felt comfortable with the standards of cleanliness. We would definitely recommend this holiday home and would return without hesitation!"
