"Excellent location, a stone's throw from the beach. Allocated parking was beneficial as parking was quite competitive on the street. Lots of eating places nearby. Morrisons is close by for any shopping. The house itself was quirky. The best bedroom of the house, is laid out as a twin, which made us use the double bed in the smaller back room. The kids bedroom is more like a corridor and you pass through it to access the back bedroom. The bathroom upstairs is the only bathroom we used as the downstairs bathroom is quite a small wet room, with the shower right next to the toilet. The best part of the house for us was the sun room and the little garden at the back. The living room was very comfy. Each bathroom had a toilet roll but no soap, so best to take some. We asked for a mid week clean which Sarah kindly arranged for us. In terms of what we did:1. Days out at the beach and icecreams, water splash park and playground on the promenade was a hit with the children. Jay Jay's was expensive for what was on offer, we weren't impressed despite good cakes.2. Africa Alive zoo - very clean and lovely - highly recommended - 30 min drive away3. A day out at Great Yarmouth - Sara's tea rooms had good food and scones4. Bicycle hire at Somerleyton - Ron was lovely and the kids loved exploring the area on bikes5. Cliff hotel is just opposite and we had dinner one evening. The views were to die for but the food was slow and unimpressive. Cocktails were lovely6. We tried the Hopton tricycle hire which was hard work initially but fun7. We watched the seals at Horsey beach - our first time watching wild seals. The little ones were so playful, and it was lovely seeing them getting curious and trying to get near the swimmers8. We hired a boat to experience the broads and it was lovely. We sailed from Batswick to Ludham Bridge - took about half a day with a stop off at the abbey ruins9. We went to Norwich castle on our way back - not worth it until the construction is done. The museum was lovely but the castle and dungeons are closed.Hope this helps other visitors!"

"This is a lovely house in a great location just a short stroll to a beautiful beach. Quiet area. The upstairs has a bit of an odd layout as you have to go through the children's bedroom (bunk beds) to get to the master bedroom at the back of the house and then if you need the bathroom in the night you have to go back through the children's bedroom to get to it. Could be a problem if your kids are light sleepers. Agree with previous reviewer, would have been better to have master bedroom at front or to access master bedroom through the bathroom. House is very well kept, very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Was only let down by the cleaner leaving a used glass on the draining board and crumpled up tea towel and hand towel by the sink with used washing up items on the sink. Probably just forgot to collect them on their way out. A small point but when extra time has been taken off the check in and check out times for extra Covid cleaning it is worth a double check before exiting. Apart from that, would thoroughly recommend and would return."

"Wonderful stay. We were 4 adults a teenager and one dog. Excellent location 1 min walk to a lovely beach. Good for our morning runs and dog walks. House was spotlessly clean. Felt covid safe. The house is so well equipped and feels very homely. Beds super comfy. Lovely garden enclosed. Have already recommended to my friends. Just what we all needed. Thanks so much"
