Denise, July 2021

"What an amazing week, the property is a real home from home where you can relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Everything is of a high standard and everything works. Loved the layout, the views and the location - everything essential in walking distance and everything else only a short car ride away. Steve is approachable and responsive and a genuine person to have as host/owner where no question is too much trouble to answer. Can’t wait to return - 5 ⭐️"

Sarah, July 2021

"We had to clean the filters etc in the dishwasher. This had obviously not been done for a very long time"

Pamela, June 2021

"Immaculate cottage, equipped to a very high standard. Possibly the nicest UK self-catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. We were sad to leave, and semi-jokingly said that if we could take this property back with us to Northumberland we would willingly do so. We stayed for a week but it was so well equipped we could have stayed for a month and would not have lacked for anything. The only slight drawback is that although it has 2 beautiful bathrooms none are on the ground floor, but that is a minor criticism. There is a lot to do nearby, much of it within walking distance. There is a selection of good restaurants and take-aways also within walking distance. And of course there is the view. The view from the property is lovely, and the higher up in the house you go the better it gets. Just relax on the balcony with a drink and some nibbles and watch the boats. It's lovely."

Adrian, May 2021

"Amazing property which has been renovated to a really high specification. The views from the balconies are breathtaking. Loads of space for our family of four and lots of personal touches that made it a really easy and comfortable place to stay. A short drive to some lovely beaches, Southwold being our favourite! We would happily return, we didn't want to leave!!"

Julian, September 2020

"This was an excellent location for the things we needed to do. We would come again. The smokehouse was a good find but otherwise food offering locally was not great."

Keith, August 2020

"Such a wonderful place to stay. The house was everything we could wish for. It’s finished to a very high standard and the views over the lake and boats was an added bonus. Just a short walk to the Broad and local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend this house."
