Reviews

“Beautiful cottage perfect for my wife and I but plenty of room for four. Great location for access to lots of north Devon. Parking for one car no problem.”

“Very nice, everything we needed and in a good location. Only issue is the stairs, not very safe if have a disability or are a dog.”

“A wonderful stay in a beautifully clean, well equipped cottage. The enclosed garden was ideal for our puppy, and Mrs Norman a thoughtful host, providing lovely touches like homemade shortbread and fresh baked bread for our arrival, fluffy towels and helpful advice on local eateries and beaches.”

“Excellent and well maintained accommodation in a pleasant and picturesque part of the north Devon countryside.Would recommend to all but the steep hillsides and steps within the accommodation would not suit those with mobility problems.”

“Excellent cottage in a great location. Great views across the village. Could be improved by having toilet facility on upper level but otherwise excellent, well maintained and very clean. Owners very helpful and cooperative. Would certainly visit again”

“We had such a lovely stay at Silver Cottage, it was impeccably clean and so well equipped. The beds were really comfy and the seating space perfect. The parking was ample for my VW van & the lovely neighbours moved their car so my dad could park his Range Rover when they visited so ample space for us and they helped with a flat! Ive been raving about it to our friends and would definitely revisit thank you!”

“Marvellous! We had a great stay at Sliver Cottage. We would definitely choose to go back again, and recommend it to anyone. The host Diana was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Everywhere was immaculate. The kitchen was very well equipped and good to cook and eat in; the lounge was very relaxing with a lovely log burner, and a lovely view through the valley to the sea. The bath and shower rooms were really good, and the beds extremely comfortable.”

“Very homely and cosy with excellent facilities. Outstanding communication from host, stairs are slightly steep but our 10 year lab did go up and down ok.”

“Silver Cottage was an unusual property, having the bedrooms downstairs, and the living rooms upstairs, to make the most of the view. It was spotlessly clean, and the double bed very comfortable. The bathrooms also were immaculate, and well equipped. Guests need to be aware that there is a narrow spiral staircase between the floors, and that the property is up a steep hill. Also some T V channels are unavailable. However we enjoyed our week there, despite disappointing weather.”

“Clean and homely and it is finished to high standard , will be returning next year!”
