“Lovely cottage for an early December break in a peaceful remote area. Well equipped, snug and warm. Dog friendly with lots of walks from the door, down to the coast, but be prepared for the uphill sections.”

“This was a fantastic find! We had such a wonderful weekend of walking. The cottage is adorable and the location perfect. The footpath opposite the cottage leads directly to the coast path, and we were able to walk for miles along the dramatic Hartland coastline. If you like coast path walking, this cottage is ideal!”

“This is a lovely cosy homely cottage, good lay out on ground floor, however it is quite remote along many one track lanes. I was very happy with this but others might not be. There are no local shops or pubs within walking distance, fine by me, but just to let you know. The garden is shared with next door cottage. Our neighbours had a dog which I find quite frightening. They were very understanding and kept their dog under control however I am aware that this might have been a constraint for them. There was no hairdryer, most unusual these days and also no cheese grater!”

“Lovely cottage in fantastic location. Very quiet, remote setting . We needed to use the car to get to the nearest amenities.”
