“We had a lovely week at Cirl Cottage. The location is great and we were able to get to many places on foot e.g. Greenway, Galmpton Creek, Broadsands Beach and Goodrington. We had a delightful day out on the Dartmouth Steam Railway visiting Dartmouth and the Castle. Torquay, Paignton and Brixham were all within easy reach and definitely worth a visit. The cottage was very clean, warm and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend and hopefully make a return visit, as there is so much to see and do in the area. The only negative was the noise from the building works next door, (starting at 8am every morning) but obviously this was completely out of the owners control.”

“Overall a lovely cottage. Very comfortable , and immaculately clean and everything we needed. Central for getting to Brixham, Torquay. Very helpful owners, and a lovely welcome pack. The only downside was being woken up early as the shop which was almost opposite the cottage was having deliveries as early as 6.30am with constant talking. Apart from that a very enjoyable break.”

“We had a great week at Cirl Cottage, it was equipped to a very high standard, and was very clean and tidy. The owners were really friendly and extremely helpful. We were really grateful of the thoughtful welcome pack, and use of the owners shop. We loved the local area and had a great week exploring the beaches nearby. Thank you for a lovely holiday.”

“Had a great weeks holiday staying in Cirl cottage in the middle of Galmpton village. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, even offering to open the shop next door when it was closed if we needed anything on arrival. The cottage itself was as clean as a new pin, a five minute drive to Goodrington beach and in close proximity to Brixham, Paignton etc. Two pubs within walking distance, the manor and railway Inn, served great meals. Would definitely go back.”

“A really lovely stay with very welcoming owners. Located in South Devon with Brixham, Dartmouth and Torquay on your doorstep for lovely days out. National Trust properties and a beach within a few miles make this a location for young and old alike. The property is well equipped with modern appliances and is next door to the village shops in case you need anything.”

“My husband always rates the accommodation by how much he enjoys his shower.......... so that's a 1010 to start with! (Let alone all the other features that make this cottage so perfect.) Fantastic base for discovering this part of Devon.”

“The cottage was super clean and really well equipped with everything you would need. Very modern and open plan. Lots to do in the local area, we particularly enjoyed the Dartmouth steam train and river cruise.”

“Gary & Kay have a beautiful cottage very clean and tidy with every conceivable appliance you we've need.Parking is tight not a lot of room for maneuverability. And early morning noise from both shops can be an issue.”
