“Buzzards was a very comfortable cottage to holiday in over the Christmas period and we were pleasantly surprised that it was bigger than it appears in the photos.”

“A delightful cottage, fitted out to a very high standard with attractive decor and warm despite being December. We were welcomed by a delicious cream tea, a very thoughtful gesture. We walked a mile or so to the centre of the village for an excellent evening meal and it was a similar distance to access the coast path.”

“I enjoyed my week in this flat . Warm ,spacious and well equipped . A very quiet location but close to shops and pubs. We did two good walks direct from the flat. Coastal walks and beaches a short drive away. West bay and beach a 20 min walk .The Crown Inn, a 10 min walk was a real local ,good Palmers ale and hearty food and live music on Saturday night .”

“Lovely homemade scones and bits for cream tea on arrival were a nice touch. Apartment was spotlessly clean and decor was nicely understated.Owners were on hand for any queries, but were also unobtrusive.Plenty of footpaths around the villagehamlet for quick trots with the dog first and last thing.Location was ideal for our needs within easy reach of Weymouth in one direction, and Lyme Regis in the other. West Bay was only a short drive and perfect for evening walks with the dog glad we went after October 1st when dogs on beach restrictions are eased. Also a lovely beach at Eype access is via a long single track with passing places, but worth the effort.Although 'off season' shopsfacilities still open surprised at how busy it was!”

“Amazing holiday in a perfect accommodation. Arrived to a perfectly placed and spotlessly clean house. Everything needed for a lovely week in place in the accommodation and the owners had left freshly baked scones and clotted cream as a lovely welcome present. We will definitely be returning to this location. Thanks for a perfect break”

“A great location. Quiet but everything accessible. Spotlessly clean, everything you needed and nice owners. Great base to explore lovely Dorset.”

“We had a lovely week at Buzzards. It is in a very peaceful location and was clean, bright and comfortable, and easily big enough for the 3 of us. Spacious parking too.The village is small, but has post boxes, a church and lots of walks. It is a very short drive into Bridport though so everything needed is only a short drive away.Having spoken to the owner, we understand the agents recommended removing certain high touch items due to covid. Had we known, we would have brought a hairdryer and kitchen storage boxes with us. Would recommend.”

“Buzzards was a brilliant find. Located in a quiet corner of a lovely village only a mile from the beautiful Dorset coast. The property has a very well equipped kitchen area and a very comfortable lounge. It also has a double and a single bedroom and has both a bath and shower. The whole house is very well decorated and very clean. The owners Mr and Mrs Curtis were very nice and very helpful and my wife and I would not hesitate to rebook a stay and Buzzards and would highly recommend it to anyone else.”

“Had a lovely cream tea left for us when we arrived and a jug of milk. The garden is gorgeous to look out on with the entertaining chickens and cute dogs. Very warm and cosy.”
