This modern third floor apartment, with lift access, is perfect for couples wishing to stay in the heart of Swanage town centre and has reserved free parking nearby, which is a real benefit for properties in this area. It enjoys a quiet location at the rear of the building and a wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants along the High Street ensures that all amenities lie within a short walking distance. The beach around the corner, with its golden sands, is perfect for swimming and sunbathing, and you can take a leisurely stroll along the promenade in the evening. Walkers are also well-catered for with the South West Coastal Path close by, and cyclists can secure their bikes on the bars provided in the cycle shed. A trip on the steam train to Corfe Castle makes for a great day out, where you can visit the picturesque 11th-century castle on the National Trust site. Hop on board the open top bus to Sandbanks and Bournemouth from where you can catch local boats to Brownsea Island to the red squirrels, in high season, buses also run on occasion to Lulworth Cove. Horse riding and fishing are available within 1 mile. Just a short drive from Swanage is Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, which offer wonderfully scenic walks along the Jurassic coastline. Beach 27 yards. Shop and restaurant 30 yards, pub 50 yards.

"The Sandcastles apartment was in an ideal location for exploring Swanage and the local area, with the South west coastal path on its' doorstep. All the information you needed to find local attractions was available, including an OS map of the area. Although small, it was comfortable and had all the facilities needed for a few days away. Unfortunately, some of the recommended restaurants were only open on certain days and were difficult to get booked into because of the limited opening times and lack of staff. Otherwise, I would recommend it to anyone planning a break in Swanage."

"The accommodation was in a superb location and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Just across the road from the beach and in the heart of the town. Plenty of lovely eateries on your doorstep but booking ahead is advisable. We left the car in the space provided and used public transport to visit Poole, Sandbanks and Bournemouth. Also took the Jurassic Cruise from Swanage Pier and visited Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove on the way down to Swanage. Corfe Castle was also worth a visit and had some lovely produce from Swanage market on Friday morning. We have already recommended Sandcastles to family and friends."

"No complaints whatsoever over accomodation, the apartment is ideally located in the centre of town for shops & beach, it was clinically clean comfortable for two & well equipped.Tea, coffee, biscuits present on arrival was a welcoming gesture from the owners. Parking our car free at a nearby hotel was an added bonus & it meant we did not use it all week travelling on the steam train to Corfe Castle & bus at the station 5 mins away.Swanage is a delightful seaside town, great restaurants (book in advance) & wonderful coastal walks.My wife & I have no hesitation in recommending the flat."

The apartment is for two people only, but it has everything anyone could need, it's in the centre of Swanage, and all facilities are nearby. We only ate in twice, as there are some excellent restaurants within a short walk. No issues at all."

The owners were in contact regularly to check all was well and the place was spotlessly clean when we arrived (thanks Benny!).The owners gave us plenty of restaurant recommendations and we can thoroughly recommend La Trattoria and Tawny’s Bar.Excellent location to explore the Jurassic Coast with convenient parking thrown in."
