“Perfect cottage, clean, cosy and spacious, loved it.”
— Andrea, 24 December 2021
“Overall a lovely place to stay, unfortunately for us a lot of places were shut or fully booked for food, but we were able to find plenty of other places for food and drink”
— Christopher, 15 September 2021
“We found the Cottage at 9 Chapel Street to be of an exceptional standard. It is any ideal size and space for a couple. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is fully equipped The bed was extremely comfortable, with a feather duvet and pillows. It was also lovely to have both the choice of a shower and a bath. The only one criticism we would have is the lack of parking spaces available to visitors to Mousehole in general. There is only a small car park available nearby at the harbour, which is chargeable at £3 for a 24 hour period. One evening upon our return we have to wait for almost an hour for a parking space to become available, which was quite frustrating. Apart from that we had a most fabulous weeks break, staying at 9 Chapel Street and Mousehole. We would highly recommend the cottage to anyone and we would definitely be returned one day.”

“Great accommodation in a great location”
— Steve, 15 July 2021
“This is an excellent location for a good holiday. The level of accommodation is excellent with the property being designed for 2 Adults. Children are not allowed I think and for good reason. Be aware that the roads around the property are very narrow and that you cannot park near to the property so loading and unloading luggage etc. requires a walk up and down a hill to the nearest car park. Car parking is limited and on one day during our visit we had to park across the other side of the village and walk back to the property. If you are happy with this then I would highly recommend this property for your holiday.”

“Great holidayBeautiful location”
— michael, 24 June 2021
“We really enjoyed our week at 9 Chapel Street which is a 'highspec' conversion of an old property in Mousehole, and just a stroll form the local restaurant, pub, shops, harbour, etc. There was everything there that we needed (tea, coffee, sugar, etc, plus a bottle of good wine were also provided) and all fixturesfittings were of good quality. The ground floor comprising kitchen, dining area, and relaxing area with TV is bright and airy, and the basement contains comfortable kingsize bed and great bathroom with 'big bath' and walk in shower. What more could we wantThe cottage is on one of Mousehole's narrow streets and parking in the village, whilst not expensive, can be a bit of a lottery, but once you get organised, it's not really a problem. For nondrivers or others willing to use local transport, there's a bus along to Penzance every 20 minutes. We would recommend this cottage to any couple or solo traveller wishing to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall.”

“Excellent cottage and far bigger than expected. Beautifully done up and lots of attention to detail a very high spec property. Great bathroom. Property very clean. We would stay again. Staff at the restaurant where we collected keys were also super. Might have been useful to have a couple of foldable bistro chairs to be able to sit in the courtyard in the evening it was hot whilst we visited.”

“This is a fantastic cottage for two people. Its very well fitted out and has a really nice layout It had everything we needed inside. If I had to pick a even better if then some outside seating would have been nice. However its so close to the harbour and the small beach sitting outside wasnt a problem and seemed to be what a lot of people did in the evening. We never had a problem with finding a parking place close by even though we stayed over the bank holidayHighly recommended”
— Bob, 5 June 2021
“Lovely cottage, ideal for two people in the centre of Mousehole. Convenient for both the town and the West of Cornwall for days trips. Good wifi and TV options make it perfect for a glass of wine in front of the log fire. The team at Fore Street Restaurant even delivered dinner one evening!”
— Tony, 18 May 2021
“The only thing that reduced the score from 10 overall is the lack of opening windows in the bedroom did not feel comfortable leaving the top of the stable door open all night and we like a very cool bedroom at night”
