A couple of miles over the hill, the ancient town of Kidwelly is really worth a visit. Here you will find the historic Kidwelly Castle, teaming with history and one of the finest preserved Norman castles in Wales. “Everything about the cottage and the hosts was excellent and nothingg was to much trouble. The cottage was a 20 minute walk to the pub which wasnt open much and didnt serve food so a car journey for food and drink but overall brilliant”

“Keith and Lesley were lovely and made sure that we had everything we needed. The cottage (Bronyn Cottage) was wonderful, comfortable clean and well equipped. Evenings in the hot tub looking at the stars with the sound of the birds was amazing. There is a railway line nearby but it wasnt intrusive and in fact most of the time we werent aware of it. Despite being a little off the beaten track it was easy to get to lots of places of interest.”

“We had a lovely time in this beautiful cottage in an amazing setting with great walks nearby, the castle to explore, bike rental by the coastal path 20min away and rolling countryside everywhere. The wild bird flight display at the national botanic garden was also a highlight. The cottage is huge, beautiful and relaxing. A perfect place to relax on a rainy day in front of the wood burner.”
