Paul, August 2021

"Stayed for a week from 25th June to 2nd July. Cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious and in a great location with views out to sea and the Isle of Man from the patio. The owners, Arfon and Glen introduced themselves, after we had settled in and were very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge about coastal walks, places to visit and places to eat. The weather was superb and hugely enjoyed our first visit to Angelesy. The village of Amlwch is only a short walk away with pubs serving food and a nice harbour. Would highly recommend this cottage to stay in and could find no faults at all."

Martin, August 2021

"Breathtaking views of the sea from a luxury cottage. Would thoroughly recommend it."

Melissa, June 2021

"Highly recommend this beautiful, spacious property with great views from the lounge and large patio, with spacious lawn area & BBQ. Owners on site are both very friendly and available as required who being locals have a deep knowledge of local history. Great base for discovering Anglesey, 25 min drive gets you most places with some stunning beaches, highly recommend Red Wharf Bay. A short walk to Amlwch Port and discover the finest pies around (including Vegan) at Adelphi Vaults, a traditional pub and down to earth owners. The property and owners rank in my top 3 on AirBnB."

Chris, June 2021

"It was always good to return to the Cottage at the end of each day, which we think is the best test of whether it met expectations. The cottage was clean, and beautifully furnished, and the view towards the sea delightful. Our hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and of course the beaches around the island were lovely. There were fewer places to eat than we had expected (nothing to do with the cottage), although Pebbles (at Benllech), The Bull at Beaumaris, the Gazelle at Menai and Ann's Pantry at Moelfre were all superb."

David, June 2021

"We enjoyed our stay at the cottage ,which was well designed ,tastefully decorated and furnished and immaculately clean. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and we appreciated the welcome pack (coffee/tea/sugar/milk /cake and a bottle prosecco.) Later in the week we were given some newly laid eggs from their hens. The views to the sea and to the mainland further north were glorious and while there are footpaths to the coastal path ,there was no direct access to the beach. Lovely sunsets and night skies and lots of shipping passing that you could track on I pads. The cottage provided good access to the eastern and southern parts of the island and we enjoyed discovering the bays along the coast where good walks were to be had when the tide was out-our favourite bay being Treath Dulas ,not easy to find without a map but delightfully remote and peaceful. The roads were very good everywhere, which made driving pleasant.Unfortunately the restaurants we wanted to visit had been fully booked for a while so best to book well ahead another time. We managed to buy fresh crab and fish at Dave's Crab Shop in Belech (open from 10am on certain days),where there is also a Tesco . Dave told us that the supermarkets had driven out many of the small shops ,which explained why we didn't see many. As lockdown had only just eased, a number of shops had not yet opened -apart from Beaumaris where we found an excellent butcher and grocery and one or two interesting shops. The gardens at Plas Y Cadnant and Cemlys Bay ,with the breeding colony of terns, were the highlight of a peaceful and relaxing holiday ."

"The numbers speak for themselves! We have stayed in numerous UK holiday Lets over the years, but this one is top of our list. The owners were a great couple who went out of their way to be helpful. The property itself was beautifully equiped, superbly clean, and with nothing forgotten. And as for the views, they were idyllic from the couch or patio!Great coast with many small coves but a trip to the local Copper mine a must.We cannot fault anything at all."

Laurence, May 2021

"A great weekend escape. Excellent property. Will return."

Adrian, April 2021

"A superbly appointed and comfortably equipped, spacious cottage. The owners were friendly and really helpful with ideas about what to see locally.A great location and view for a perfect, relaxing break. We had a great time and hope to return.Brilliant!"

Martin, April 2021

"Perfect setting for an escape; the uninterrupted views from the front windows are perfect to watch the sun go down!Really comfortable cottage with underfloor heating, fully equipped kitchen and modern throughout, as well as wifi. The cottage is located so you can easily access all areas of Anglesey without excessive driving; we managed to go from west/South/east and back again in one day. Would highly recommend and would definitely return again."

Amy, October 2020
