“Lovely place, very well equipped. Good parking, comfy bed, great hosts”

“we had such an amazing stay on Anglesey, and would highly recommend the accommodation. We were in 1 of the 2 self catering units, very well appointed and fantastically equipped to make meals if you wished. The barrestaurant food was absolutely top class and we ate there 3 times, need to book as very popular and not much else in the area. Set in a very peaceful spot and we enjoyed a couple of beautiful sunsets. the low score for local amenities has nothing to do with the accommodation, just that there is very few amenities in Amlwch, no town centre as such which is a shame. Would recommend anyone to stay and we will definitely be back.”

“Nothing less than excellence from Lastra Farm.”

“Probably the best cottage weve ever stayed in ticking all of our preference boxes. Elaine & Adrian were so very welcoming to us & our pooch. The cottage contained everything we could have required & the kitchen was very well equipped for self catering which we did for 4 of our 7 evening meals. We had some guests over for 2 meals & I was relieved to see we had 4 place settings not just the 2 considering its a 1 bed cottage. The photos do not lie, the decor & furnishings are contemporary, clean & fresh, the living & bedrooms bright & airy. The bed was one of the most comfortable weve slept in. The view beyond the car park below from the large window is beautifully rural & the road is very quiet. The little patio had wooden seating with a parasol & we enjoyed a few drinks in the evenings watching the sun set. Parking is available right outside. Having the hotel & restaurant on the doorstep was an added bonus & we enjoyed 3 meals there during our stay. The cottage is reasonably placed for exploring the island & although the town Amlwch has seen better days, we had a fascinating walk around the old copper mine at Parys mountain which is only a couple of miles away. Our preferred beach Lligwy was a 15 minute drive but well worth it. We had booked a week in October in the same cottage in case the May trip was cancelled due to Covid as was last years booking We look forward to returning!”

“Excellent accommodation. The hotel quite secluded & had strict Covid rulings in place which made us feel very safe & secure. The staff were friendly & helpful. Food Excellent.”

“This property is a gem and the owners lovely and friendly. It's a great base for exploring the island and very convenient for Bull bay golf club if that's your thing. ( An amazing course but we had warm sunny weather)”
