“A very wellappointed cottage with all mod cons, situated in a scattered crofting community. Easy road access to northern Skye and other areas if you want to explore this beautiful island, and comfortable if bad weather keeps you in!”

“What a fantastic cottage! Everything you could need and much more, no need to pack those extra items just in case as the cottage already has them. The cottage is of an excellent standard and very clean and the little extras on arrival were very much appreciated. One of the reasons we chose to come to Franks was the excellent reviews from previous guests and we were definitely not disappointed. Franks is a credit to the owners and I would highly recommend staying there.”

“Great little cottage, has everything you need, very warm and cosy, great for exploring the island and not far from the island attractions such as the Old Man of Storr.”

“The traditional exterior does not reflect the fantastic interior which is fully kitted out with all the amenities one needs for a self catering holiday. The cottage was very clean and the log burner and Netflix were great for the evenings in. The location is ideal for those who wish for a peaceful and tranquil holiday. The Trotternish peninsula is a great place to explore and the cottage is ideally positioned. Would recommend and hope to return.”

“This is a fantastic cottage and one of the best we have stayed in. Clean and very well equipped we were very comfortable and felt so relaxed despite the damp weather! When we return again to Skye our first choice of cottage will be Franks.”
— Doug, 7 October 2021
“Weve stayed at a few cottages over the years and Franks is top for equipment, cleanliness and location. If you just want to get away from it all,Franks is the place to go. Equally thou if you want to see all the beauty on the Isle of Skye, the drive out takes a bit longer than the main land, but you wont be disappointed; STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!”
— Jez, 19 September 2021
“Lovely holiday cottage with helpful friendly owners. Location is stunning, isolated. Very high standard, beware if taller than 6' due to upstairs (bedrooms) ceiling heights.”
— Nick, 10 September 2021
