"A good property for a family of 4 A great little village very peaceful lovely friendly neighbours and good location to get about Not easy to get to shops or supermarkets because of distance But would recommend the Greshornish House hotel to eat in their restaurant, good location ,service and cost"

"Ideally situated cottage for exploring the island. Warm and cosy, a real home from home. Highly recommend."

"This comfortable and spotless cottage is in a row of stone cottages in the quiet village of Edinbane. We stayed in the last week before indoor hospitality opened so we didnt get to visit Enidbane Lodge restauraunt with rooms or Enidbane Inn. Both had a good reputation with locals on the Island. Sat in the well maintained front garden you can only hear birdsong and the river a few yards away. The lounge has a stove, large sofas flat screen TV ( with an HDMI connection) and there is good enough Wifi for streaming. There is another stove in the dining room. The kitchen is well equipped if you have to cater for yourselves. There is a double bedroom and another with two singles and a bathroom with bath upstairs. The wetroom downstairs is excellent. There are no grocery shops in the village but there are a couple of honesty boxes for eggs and basics. The Coop in Portree 20 minutes away has everything you will need though there are a few other stores around the island. The village is accessed by proper roads so you dont have to run the single track roads with passing places until you want to explore. Above all this is a good base to explore the island and Skye itself is the star of the show. There were cuckoos and skylarks in full song all over the island when we visited."

"The cottage is in a quiet rural village with a really nice pub / restautant and a hotel with limited opening times. The location is a good one for touring the Island of Skye to see all the attractions which ate many and varied."

Alan, October 2020

"Annies Cottage is part of a terrace in the remote village of Edibane. The cottage is lovely and has all you want for a nice, remote break and great to come back to after days out exploring Skye. An inn is very close by to the cottage which was ideal for visiting for an evening's drink one night, a meal another. All in all we had a lovely break in these mad Covid times and thoroughly recommend Annies Cottage!"
