“Stunning cottage with everything you need for a weeks holiday.Spotlessly clean, fluffy towels and plenty of hot water.”

“A deeper clean should be done, crumbs in the fridge when we arrived cobwebs on lights. However carness west is a fantastic property with everything you need and more for a comfortable stay. Property has a stair gate and high chair in the utility room if needed. 25 mins from fort William, we had a really great stay.”

“House perfect in every way. Had everything you could possibly need. Fabulous constantly changing mountain views from every window. Had to drive to pubs and restaurants but we knew before we went there. Sadly our weather was very wet. Yes would go there again”

“The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Although fairly secluded and private, it felt safe due to the presence of a couple of houses nearby. No pine marten, but a wide variety of birds on the bird feeders, which were lovely to watch. The upstairs living area provided wonderful views from all sides and was modern, yet cosy (even hot at times, under the skylights!). Carness West was a lovely place to stay.”

“Carness West is a beautiful house in a very beautiful area, I gave the cleanliness score a 9 because the house was clean, but the fridge had not been wiped out from the last guests and there was a towel from the last guests hanging on the back of one of the bedroom doors, in itself, not a big deal the rest of the house was very clean, it was very well equipped, there was everything in the house you could wish for, the beds were very comfortable, we had a lovely week.”

“Wonderful setting , everything you need , definitely worth a visit , the bathrooms heaters need to be fixed as not working but that was the only negative apart from the fact we didn't get to see the pine Martins lol definitely would go back”

“Stunning location with beautiful views. Arrival instructions were excellent. The house was was tidy and nicely presented. Beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp bedding and large fluffy towels in the bathrooms. The wood burning stove was great on a couple of chilly days. We enjoyed sitting out on the verandah for meals.”

“We loved our stay. The cottage was in a wonderful location. It was exceptionally clean with very comfortable bedrooms and living areas. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The views are amazing from both deck areas. We particularly loved the pinemarten who visits each evening. A great place to stay.”

“A perfect house in a great location for our first trip to the Highlands. Definitely recommended!”

“A really breathtaking location and a superb cottage with very spacious kitchen living room area with fabulous views and a nice balcony dining area. The weather was amazingly warm and sunny, so this made it a wonderful holiday. I believe this isn't guaranteed! Local amenities are limited, but that goes with the territory for somewhere that is in a fabulously remote location. But 10 mins drive to a decent Coop and similar to a couple of good restaurants is hardly a hardship.”
