“Comfortable and well situated.”

“Was a lovely house in lovely setting. The only reason not tens all round is some of the guests didn't have good bedding and were cold. I would go back again.”

“A very comfortable cottage, and spacious a couple of observations ut these are probably regarding our group and maybe not others, these were, we couldn't all sit for a meal together at any one time, no two pin shaver points, not many small drinking glasses. As I say not a big problem, as we sorted everything ad appreciate everything it did have, the welcome gift was greatly recieved thank you we will return,”

“River Mill house is surprisingly spacious and, while we normally choose more rural locations and older houses, Ballachulish is actually a great location for the Glencoe area and the more modern facilities, especially the reclining chairs, made a nice change. The only thing we really missed was an open fire or logburner for that cosy winter evening atmosphere. One small point we often stay in properties now days that have fairly sophisticated ovenshobs. These have almost always been turned off at the mains which means they need to be completely reprogrammed before they will work not what you want with an unfamiliar appliance after a long drive on your first night. I dont know whether its the caretakers or previous guests who are doing this, but it would be really helpful if they didnt. We all agreed that we would happily stay at River Mill House again, thanks.”

“Perfect place for a perfect holiday for the big family or group of friends. Despite three steps to front door, place is good for wheel chair as well”
— Morten, 26 October 2021
“This was a holiday with friends and was very impressed with all amenities and overall levels of cleanliness. The group particularly enjoyed the BBQ hut and convertible pool table which we felt favourably differentiated it from other offerings available in the area. Our group was also relatively large and the 6 bedrooms at the price asked was exceptional value. There was also more than enough leisure space available ensuring we didn't feel too cramped. A great property that we will certainly take advantage of again and would whole heartedly recommend to others.”
