“Really good accommodation with the added bonus of the Jacobite train passing the bottom of the garden. Comfortable bed along with everything you could need for your stay. Quiet location off the main road but not isolated. A well contained garden safe for letting the dog outside. A 40 minute walk along the canal path takes you to Neptune's Staircase which has a cafe on site for a drink or a meal before the walk back. A Coop is only a 10 minute walk away, or a 10 minute drive takes you into Fort William. Excellent base for for a relaxing holiday.”

“What a stunning location, beautiful cottage, perfect in every way. Well stocked kitchen. The views of the mountains from the back garden were phenomenal. Easy to access other destinations. The welcome bottle of wine was very nice touch. We will definitely be returning. Lovely hosts”

“A wonderful week in a lovely comfortable cottage the owners have thought of everything. Secure garden for our dogs amazing views of Ben Nevis and glorious March weather made it a perfect week. Lots of places to visit in surrounding area but driving is required.”

“Loved this well equipped cottage! Its literally a home from home. Hot water is instant, and cottage was warm and cosy on chilly nights. Garden is fenced in which was great for my two dogs, there is a stream at the side of the garden, and the novelty of watching trains go past at the bottom of the garden. Ben Nevis is the view, which is stunning. Plenty of local walks in the area too.”

“Absolutely fantastic! This cottage is in a very quiet location and very convenient for Fort William. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The cottage had great views from the rear overlooking the West Highland Line, and mountains in the distance. Deer were often seen roaming around the garden fence too.WiFi is fast (averaged 40mbs) and generally reliable, however did notice it dropped out a few times. Not too inconvenient as for the times it did drop, phone signal is a full 4g connection.Sky TV is also provided. The TV is in a strange position, on the corner of a wall, however. The bed is relatively comfortable although rather too firm for me. Nevertheless, I still managed to get a good night sleep every night. To sum up, this cottage is in an ideal location, great amenities and very comfortable. Enjoyed the cottage so much that during my stay I booked another visit for later in the year!”

“This is a wonderful little cottage and great base to explore the Highlands, Great Glen and west coast from. Warm and cosy, with a fantastically well equipped kitchen I didn't need any of the back up stuff I took (although its a bit short on chopping boards) as we liked to be out all day and cook for ourselves in the evenings. There are good supermarkets and a number of restaurants (recommend you book) in Fort William. There is another small express supermarket within a mile of the cottage. The Jacobite Express goes past the end of the garden a couple of times a day, which my husband took great delight in greeting at 6.45pm every evening, whisky in hand (I never knew he was a trainspotter, although it is a very special train). The bed and bedding are excellent, although we were pleased that we took our mattress topper with us. Bathroom is ensuite with a decent shower and towels are provided. Wifi is a bit hit and miss although who needs the internet when you're surrounded by such outstanding natural beauty. Loved every minute and didn't want to leave.”
