“Loved my solo stay at Eilean Beag, very friendly, welcoming owners. Location was perfect for me, easy access to Fort William with a shop just around the corner if needed. Also a great base for exploring the likes of Glenfinnan and Mallaig just up the road, or down to Glencoe, east towards Loch Ness or west towards Oban, and many more places. So many amazing places can be reached in under an hour. As a photographer is was great to have the Corpach Wreck pretty much on the doorstep too. The property itself was very clean, had everything I needed, nice shower, nice little kitchen, view of Ben Nevis, nothing else I could have wished for really other than maybe a dishwasher but that's just me being a lazy man. Very likely to return, possibly later this winter. Thanks for a lovely stay.”

“Loved our stay here last week. Very friendly owners who had the place all ready for our arrival. Items had been provided such as hand soap, shower gel, washing up liquid as well as laundry detergent. We also had a bottle of milk, wine and a box of shortbread biscuits which was very well received. Room was very comfy and warm as was the bed. WiFi great, in fact, I have nothing negative to say. Would highly recommend.”

“Although Eilean Beag is quite small, it is very cozy and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The owners were very friendly and included some goodies for us. The location is great 30 second walk to the train station for the trains to Glenfinnan and Mallaig, a wellstocked Coop is 1 minute walk away, Glencoe a few miles away and we had our first UK trip in a cable car at the Nevis Mountain Resort about 78 miles away. We were also able to visit Eilean Donan Castle (surely a must for anyone staying in this area), the Isle of Skye, Loch Awe and Kilchurn Castle (closed for renovations) and as for Plodda Falls what can I say. All in all a great holiday and would have no hesitation in staying here again.”

“This is a fantastic wee holiday home. Extremely clean and tidy in a great location. Ive only given it a 9 out of 10 for comfort as the bed mattress was not suitable for us! Everything else was great and the owner so kind and friendly.”

“We loved our stay here and the owners were lovely. It was close to all the places we wanted to visit and the cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was so clean when we arrived we didn't have to worry about Covid contamination. Would definitely go again.”

“Our 3rd stay at Eileen Beag. Fabulous location within easy reach of Mallaig, Oban, Glen Coe and surrounding areas.”

“This is quite a small property, but big enough for the two of us. The location is great you open the front door and get great views of Ben Nevis. And since the weather was clear and sunny, you did get week long views of the Ben. A weeks stay at Eilean Beag was reasonably priced, especially in such inflationary time with respect to holiday lets.”

“This is a cosy, compact holiday home, in a terrific location, literally one minute's walk from the Caledonian Canal, and there's a steam train at the bottom of the garden (well, twice a day). It is spotlessly clean, has all the equipment you need for a self catering holiday, and lots of little extras that you don't normally get in holiday homes. You're far enough out of Fort William to be away from the bustle and traffic, yet near enough if you want to wander around town. There's a Coop immediately behind the property, and Aldi and M&S Simply food are about a 5 minute drive away, with Morrisons in Fort William itself as an alternative. Murdo and Margaret are friendly hosts, and very helpful with local information. We had an excellent fortnight here.”

“The cottage was well equipped and immaculately clean the views to the Caledonian canal and Ben Nevis were amazing both in the sunshine and when low cloud was there a good base to enjoy surrounding area”

“We are a family of 4 (children aged 7 and 11) and had a fantastic week. The cottage had everything we needed and thoroughly recommend it. It is quite small but we found it absolutely fine for what we wanted. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds and sofa was comfortable and everything was spotless when we arrived.”

“Lovely little cottage on site with owners who came by to see we were settled in ok and gave us some tips. Socially distanced off course. Nice and clean inside the bottle of wine and the shortbread was a lovely surprise! For food there's a Coop nearby. For travel the small train station (take trip to Mallaig views are amazing) is literally a minute away and the main road is around the corner.WiFi and TV can be patchy at times if weather is bad but then you are in the shadow of Ben Nevis and not far from the Great Glen Way and Caledonian Canal. Why would you want to stay in!Would go back.”
