“We had a fantastic chilled out break at Fidra Cottage. It is very comfortablehomely and was cosy on cold winter nights. We ate out most nights but had all we needed to cook in too. The views and sunrises were amazing and we were blessed with beautiful weather. Loved all the quirky things in the cottage and the secret porthole. Only suggestion would be heavier curtains in the bedroom to block out light, but apart from that perfect! Would definitely recommend and return!”

“Fidra was everything you would want in a holiday cottage. Location great, short walk to a fine pub in the Dreel Tavern, well kitted out, parking adjacent. Look out for the little book of photos showing the renovation work. What a job was done.”

“The cottage is really a home from home, thoughtfully furnished and spotlessly clean. The most well equipped self catering accommodation I've have ever stayed in. The communication with the owners was great and the welcome pack full of useful information. The delicious home made marmalade & oatcakes on arrival was a very welcome surprise too. I would definitely recommend this cottage!”

“We had an amazing week at this delightful and tastefully decorated cottage which has all you need for a week at the coast and more! It offers comfortable accommodation for 2 and being on Shore Rd, the views towards Anstruther Harbour are fantastic; the porthole on the gable end, even looks directly across to Anstruther Lighthouse! Being able to park right at the cottage was very useful, especially for arriving and leaving again. Despite being close to all Anstruther has to offer, the cottage is located in a quiet, peaceful location with our favourite restaurants within a short walk. We completed a good long stretch of the Fife Coastal Path, from Leven to Kingsbarns across the days of our holiday. On our day off from walking, we took advantage of the bus service into St Andrews which stops nearby.Thank you for having us at your cottage, we will certainly be back!”
