“What a beautiful house, we loved our visit to the area and the stay at Abbie House. We would definitely book to stay there again should we return for another visit in the future.”

“We had a great stay in Abbie House in October 2020. The house has lots of space, is very well equipped, was very clean, and in a great location to enjoy the Fife coast. Lovely views of the sea from the upper rooms. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking family meals. (Took us a while to find the laundry room with larger fridge freezer, which is in the separate building under the games room.)Great to have two lounges with TVs. Our kids also loved the separate games room, though it can get a bit cold with no heating in there. The heating in the rest of the house was great and kept us toasty when needed. We explored several of the local villages and towns, and would recommend the Anstruther Fish Bar, the local Chinese restaurant Wok & Spice, and the Ardross Farm Shop (lovely selection if a little pricey).Thank you for a great stay in a lovely house!”

“Lovely 3 storey mid terraced cottage. Up a steep hill from the harbour area, views from the upstairs lounge are lovely. We were a family of 6 adults, couple with 2 sons & their partners. Never felt on top of each other. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher all great. Bigger bath towels please, towels far too small especially coming out of the shower in the Autumn winter! 1 lge sofa & small sofa in the main living room, could have done with another sofa or chair for all of us lounging. Netflix available if u have an account. Beautiful original features throughout coving, flooring, wash house. Lovely mix of old & new. There is a spare fridge freezer in the old wash house along with the washing machine, etc. Parking on the street was no problem.”

“Great house, amazing amenities, first floor almost like a self contained apartment with bedroom, shower room and living room. Extremely clean, so reassuring given current situation in the world. Great beds, bedding and towels, all just very comfortable. Views from front of property to the sea beautiful, so relaxing. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy.”

“Such a relaxing and wonderful home that is spacious and has everything you need. It is the ideal location for popping down to East Coast Smokehouse or exploring the other gorgeous villages..... and the fabulous seafood. Craig Miller highly recommended as is the fish shop on the outskirts of the village and the amazing Ardross farm shop a couple of miles out. There are loads of top tips from the owners which is so handy too. Highly recommend this property, the photos dont do it justice!”

“The cottage was very spacious, with good facilities and had a good view of the sea from the lounge on the first floor and top bedroom. We didn't use the games room due to some worries on the condition of the steps after one of them gave way, although the owner did fix the original issue promptly. The owner was very good with key collection and checking everything was ok.It would be good if there were better instructions on waste disposal and recycling. We had a great time in the area, visiting St Andrews, Anstruther, Pittenweem and Elie, sampling the fish and chips and tablet ice cream. We can recommend the East Pier Smoke Housein the village and the coffee shop.”
