Guest Comments

"Loved every minute and would definitely go back again"

Jason, August 2021

"Absolutely loved staying in this bungalow used to stay in a caravan but last time we came it wasn't good! Didn't realise some of these bungalows were up for holiday stays so glad we found this!! Just be aware the hot water pressure is really low but this didn't stop us enjoying our lovely holiday!"

Helen, July 2021

"The cottage was lovely. There were most things we needed although we kept running out of bowls. The cottage was mostly clean, although very dusty behind the beds and settee (socket hunting and lost Lego). We mentioned this and it was to be sorted. At Bees is never going to ha e much in the way of amenities, but we were there for the fells and sea, and Whitehaven is close for take outs and supermarkets. Allison is lovely and so friendly and the neighbours are charming. We will definitely be back. "

Gordon, September 2020

"Really enjoyed our holiday, our dog could run free in the garden. Bungalow was spotless, would definitely recommend it."

Jackie, August 2020

"Lovely week spent at sea spray. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival. The location is wonderful, with a lovely coastal route to explore. Seen comments about the adjacent caravan park but it really didn’t bother us at all. Our boys loved the play park across towards the beach and there were some stunning views of the Isle of Man on a clear day. A brilliant base to explore the Lake District."

Kelly, August 2020

"Fantastic place to stay. Right by St Bees beach so absolutely perfect for walking our dog. The bungalow is by a very large car park and on the edge of a caravan park. It was lovely and quiet for us but wouldn’t be if it was full!! The bungalow had everything that you could possibly need and more. Very comfortable beds and plenty of space. My mother and me loved the kitchen with everything a good kitchen needs. We used the dishwasher every day due to the hot water not working but it was dealt with in a quick and professional way by Alison. Would definitely recommend."

Liz, July 2020

"Great little cottage on the seafront. Everything you will need for a comfortable stay is included in the cottage, particularly the extremely well equipped kitchen equipment. Would stay again."
