Guest Comments

"Lovely place to stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The amenities were wonderfully thoughtful, with a store area of toys, dvds, books and walking maps for loan and food products to buy. We didn’t have children with us, but the play area was great and the dog walk area was fantastic - complete with meadow, small wood and even an agility course set out (my dogs didn’t quite get the idea but it is a lovely touch!). Amroth is very close with a large area of the beach suitable for dogs, a few shops and a pub called The New Inn that we made good use of. Would recommend Colby Woodland which is within walking distance of Amroth - a National Trust woodland and gardens which is very pretty and also dog friendly. Would highly recommend this holiday home."

"The cottage was in a great location, close to Amroth which is a lovely little seaside village with great pubs. The cottage itself was wonderful, cosy, well built, nicely decorated and very thoughtfully equipped. Bumped head a few times with low beams above head but didn't detract from the lovely experience."

Andy, June 2021

"Very happy they run a superb business and nothing is too much trouble, the only hassle is the steep roof in bedroom but I am 73 and I coped ok I don't normally give tens but they deserve them"

Bernard, December 2020

"Really enjoyed staying at The Nook cottage. It was a lovely complex with a great paddock for exercising the dogs. The cottage was warm, comfortable and very well equipped. A lovely find and dog friendly. Loved the log fire it made it very cosy at night."

Tina, October 2020

"Extremely helpful owners, made good use of the enclosed dog field. I down rated local amenities because there was no pub or shop within walking distance (except on a busy road) but it did not spoil our stay at all."

Alison, October 2020

"Cottage was lovely, everything was thought of down to the blanket for the dog. Nice safe field for the dogs to run around also. Not too far from Pendine beach."
