Reviews

“Booked at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised. Little honesty shop on site amazing , and the big field for dogs an excellent idea. I loved the rule that around the cottages and camping sites dogs had to be under control. The whole area was lovely and some pleasant walks directly from yhe cottage . Loved it, would have extended my stay but all booked up.”

“Amazing location, so close to beautiful the beach and lots of scenic walks. One of the best holiday! Ideal for people with dogs children. We love exploring the ground at Costal Woods, the camping area is lovely and the dog field is great which we had to ourselves most of the time. (Not all the cottage were occupied and the campers were gone after the weekend). The cottage itself is very comfortable, well equipped. Everything is very well thought out, thanks for the cakes on arrival and the honesty store next door was very handy especially on our arrival after a long journey. If we have to be extremely picky, the mattress was too soft in our opinion, the bedding is lovely and of high quality. The sofa in the open plan area with the working TV was a bit small, the snug have a better sofa but the signal on that TV is poor so it may be better to move the DVD player in there. The internet signal is poor inside the house but we had 4G. Not an issue for us as we are not here to watch TV and go online. Obviously, there is no secure garden immediately outside so we need to put the dogs on lead every time we take them out. The dog field is the off lead area which is a track & a meadow away. We prefer that dogs have to be on lead in the ground, it is safe and no unpleasant situation of other off lead dogs coming to bother ours. Friendly owners on site if we need. We had a fantastic stay and will strongly recommend.”

“Very lovely holiday. Owners friendly and helpful. There are loads of local beaches and places to visit. But on wet days a very cosy and comfortable place to read, play board games, do a puzzle or watch the many and varied DVD's available to borrow. I would love to stay again. Peaceful, dog friendly as well as very comfortable beds.”

“Great accommodation and grounds. Due to the remoteness of the site and no shops within about five miles the Diddy Little Shop on site was invaluable. Also great place and facilities for dogs.Being in his early 70s and recovering from a broken leg my husband found the sofas far too low. Other than that we would highly recommend the resort.”

“Lovely cottages with a play area for the kids. They have a nice enclosed field for your dog to run around of lead which ours loved. It took us about 5 minutes to travel to Pendine and Amroth. Plenty of places to visit in the area.”
