Seahorses forms part of Seaton Beach Apartments, perfectly situated in the village of Seaton on the South Coast of Cornwall. The owners have taken great time and effort to ensure the property is furnished in keeping with its beachside location, and their specially appointed interior designer has employed a nautical theme and coastal colours throughout with an unobtrusive underfloor heating system.
There is a cot and highchair provided, and when the little one is settled the balcony, accessible from the main living area, offers a panoramic view of Seaton’s bustling beach, and the seemingly endless Cornish coastline. In the evening, enjoy drinks on the balcony watching the stunning sunsets across the bay.
Modern, spacious and light, the living and dining room is a haven for peace and quiet, and offers a tranquil setting to recharge after a day on the beach, or a trip to nearby St. Georges Island, a gorgeous off-shore nature reserve, accessible from East Looe with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust ferry service.
The nearby inn is just a stroll down the road, offering a family friendly environment whether you’re enjoying a drink in the sunshine or having a meal, another great option is a highly acclaimed restaurant in nearby Downderry. For those wishing to explore the area, the coastal path is within a couple of hundred yards of the apartment, and you can even stroll down to the beach, which has a small river running across it, and rock pools ideal for crabbing. The beach is a popular spot to fish from throughout the year. And no trip to Looe is complete without a trip to the Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary situated just 2 miles away.
Seaton itself has a pub, bistro, shop and beach café, and is a new haven for diving enthusiasts following the recent sinking of the Scylla frigate just off the coast. Nearby there is a beautiful path along river valley, which leads up to a pub. For the keen golfer, there are challenging courses at Looe and Whitsand Bay if you just can’t resist.
This property can be booked with Mermaids and Starfish, accommodating up to 10 guests.
