Kilkee is a seaside town on the westerncoast of County Clare overlooking the sandy beach that is protected from the Atlantic weather by the Duggerna Reef. The Kilkee Surf School runs surf camps for children aged 9 to 16 at Kilkee and Doughmore beaches every week of the summer holidays and close by is Waterworld which has a range of indoor water attractions including a bubble pool, shower geysers, the 'lazy river ride' and a 61m crystal tower slide. The 18-hole championship golf course is situated on the road towards George's Head and stretches along the spectacular cliffs.
