The accommodation is presented over two floors, with three good sized bedrooms (including the master bedroom on the ground floor), all offering stylish en suite facilities. With a private, South-West facing (and fully enclosed) garden, plenty of parking for 2-3 cars and a small dinghy or boat trailer, and an outside shower for rinsing off sandy dogs or children after a day at the beach, the property makes the ideal base for a seaside break all year round.

Deep in the heart of the South Hams lies the coastal village of Bantham at the mouth of the River Avon, close to Salcombe, Ki ngsbridge and Bigbury Bay. This tiny unspoiled village is most well-known for its vast sandy beach with rolling sand dunes, voted one of the top beaches in all of Europe, with its soft shallow sands ideal for swimming and paddling making it a popular for families. The village has whitewashed thatched cottages, a village store and the popular village pub The Sloop Inn. Lying in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the estuary and surrounding areas are a natural haven for wildlife and popular with walkers who can enjoy the magnificent scenery along the coastal footpath. Bigbury-on-Sea and the famous Burgh Island are in walking distance, as is the village of Thurlestone.
