About the area: The holiday hamlet of Stepaside was once home to both coal and iron mines, but is now welcome tourists with pubs and restaurants. There are a range of beautiful beaches nearby, including Amroth, Tenby and Saundersfoot, while the breath-taking Pembrokeshire Coast National Path is also worth checking out. Take a boat trip to Cadley Island or to Skomer, famous for its puffins.
