  • Built in the 1930's and retaining many original features throughout, French doors open from the sitting room onto a large decking area. The Boathouse offers an eclectic style of timber floors, rugs and antique furniture. It has a delightfully vintage appeal with a quaint country cottage garden and provides a comfortable sanctuary, in which to relax.
  • With a quiet village location close to Tenby, offering rural charm, and delightful garden room providing a great place to read your favourite novel.
  • The master bedroom and bathroom on the 1st floor also have views over fields to the distant castle and cove.

  • Manorbier's beautiful sandy beach is 10 minutes walk away from this holiday cottage. Please do not expect to launch your boat from here though ! Dogs are welcome all year round
  • Manorbier has a favoured tea room/cafe, gift shop and jovial public house plus a local shop supplying all your holiday needs. The cafe offers a charming place to enjoy a coffee or locally cooked fare.
  • Manorbier is a hidden gem with a real holiday village feel with winding stone walled lanes and a lovely place to stroll.

  • The beautiful sheltered sandy Manorbier Bay is a 10 minute walk away along a footpath to National Park coast, ideal for rock pooling, swimming and surfing (lessons available but watch out for undercurrents).
  • The village has a post office and well-stocked store, hotel, pub, restaurant and a cafe for delicious cream teas.

Tenby seaside resort

  • Tenby 6 miles away has a range of amenities including banks, post office, internet cafe, supermarket, fuel station, chemist, doctor, vet, interesting independent shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and a weekly Wednesday market.

Caldey Island Lighthouse and Monastery

  • Book your boat trip on the slipway of Tenby Harbour. The island has been home to Cistercian monks for over a thousand years. They produce perfume, shortbread and chocolate all on sale in the island shop. Relax on Priory Bay, one of the beautiful beaches, stroll the lovely countryside and visit part of the Grade II listed Abbey. A day to remember

Presipe, Freshwater East & West and Barafundle beaches

  • Walk the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and discover secluded bays including nearby Presipe (reached via steps & a winding path) - beautiful fine sand, rocks and stacks - the wide sweeping crescent sands of Freshwater East and Barafundle, one of Pembrokeshire's most beautiful beaches.

St Govans Head near pet friendly Manorbier coastal holiday cottage

  • St Govans Point is the most southerly point on the Pembrokeshire coast. St Govans Head has some of the finest examples of cliff forms in Britain. Do make your way down the long flight of stone steps to St Govan's tiny 6th C Chapel perched precariously at the bottom of the cliffs. Reputedly a hermitage built by a monk after his miraculous escape from pirates.

  • There are enough beautiful beaches near Manorbier Boathouse to choose one for each day of the week - Swanlake Bay, Skrinkle Haven, Broad Haven South, Barafundle, Lydstep, Freshwater East & West, Tenby has 3, Saundersfoot and more. Walk from Lydstep to St Govans

  • Keen fit walkers will enjoy this strenuous 14 1/2 mile walk. It is spectacularly scenic and varied passing some of Pembrokeshire's most remarkable beaches.Wonderful views across the bay to Caldey Island .

Shore Fishing on the Cleddau Estuary

  • Try your luck. Wrap up warm and try some winter fishing around the Cleddau estuary - the best time to bag flounder, whiting and cod. Reward yourself with a delicious fish supper.
