“This is perfect for a couple wanting fresh sea air with spectacular views of the sea with walks right on your doorstep. It was so relaxing and the hot tub a welcome end of the day after some sea air. The stairs need to be taken into account before booking, for us , not an issue but to someone with balance problems or difficulty in climbing this would be. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to escape and the cottage is furnished and equipped very well. A fantastic host , with great communication.”

“Had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful cottage really cosy and comfortable, well equipped and we loved the hot tub! The views were fantastic and the location great. We had an issue with the heating but this was resolved quickly. We also couldn't work out how to put the TV on so had to watch via apps; this may have just been us being stupid though and we didnt bother to report it and it didn't spoil the holiday at all.”

“The Boathouse is in a perfect location if you want to get away from it all and relax. With views of the lighthouse and sea from both the cottage and hot tub the location is second to none. The local coastal walks are accessible directly from the cottage therefore no need to use your car unless you need to get extra supplies from the local shops. The walks are lovely and a bit rocky in places but the views are stunning. The Boathouse is small but had everything we needed and the open plan living area was perfect for us as we could carry on chatting whilst one of us was cookingpreparing our meals. The spiral staircase is very steep and a bit tight.... but there are soft bags in the cupboard for you to put your things in to transport them upstairs rather than navigating the staircase with a hard rigid suitcase. The WiFi is a little slow and patchy, especially in the evenings... but if, like us, you are going for a relaxing "get away from it all" holiday then it shouldn't be a problem.”
