With superb sea views, just a few steps from the sandy beach of Gorran Haven, this popular and brightly decorated, spacious, 19th-century cottage, one of four converted from a pair of Victorian dwellings, is ideal for a traditional seaside holiday (beach furniture is provided). For those more energetic it is also adjacent to the South Cornwall Coastal Path, leading to awe-inspiring, rewarding cliff/beach walks and access to the National Trust headland. Picturesque Mevagissey, Charlestown Harbour, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project, National Maritime Museum, Caerhay’s Castle, Pentewan Cycle Trail, farm shops and local pubs are within easy reach, as are golf, tennis, surfing, kayaking, sailing, sea fishing and numerous other beaches. The village has a post office which is also the general store/bakery/off licence. It also serves freshly cooked meals all day and has a licensed bar for your convenience. There is a beach shop, fish and chip shop, cafés, a bespoke hotel restaurant with bar (some of these are seasonal). The public car park is 300 yards from the cottage. The cottage has a comfortable living room with sea and coastal views, a separate well-equipped kitchen with dining area, two spacious bedrooms, a double bedroom with kingsize bed and a twin bedded room. There is an elevated seating area that has stunning views of the village, sea, beach, harbour and cliffs that stretch away for miles into the distance. The porch and seat outside the front door also have fabulous views of the sea and cliffs. There is a shared rear courtyard which leads to a large outhouse where beach equipment, wetsuits, surf boards, canoes and cycles can be stored, as well as washing facilities for wetsuits and beach equipment. There are two Smart televisions that are supported by Superfast broadband/Wi-Fi for guests’ entertainment. The cottage has a small sharing library and a number of traditional board games to play with the family after a day out. Gorran Haven is loved by all and is a great place for a holiday. "Seaview is in a super location, almost on the beach, in the lovely old village of Gorran Haven. The views of the sea and the coast from the landing windows are great. Parking on the street not a problem when we were there in May. Access to coastal path taking you to The Dodman is on the doorstep and worth the effort. Shop across the road sells most things, plus it has an outside, covered cafe/bar plus there is the Mermaid Cafe on the beach. The house is comfortably furnished and well decorated."

"We had a lovely week at Seaview. We were lucky to have unseasonably warm and sunny weather for February, which added to our enjoyment, but the cottage in such a beautiful location that the good weather was just an extra bonus.We found the cottage to be warm, comfortable and very well equipped and there was a comprehensive folder of information and equipment instructions. We also got an email and a phone call from the owner before we went giving lots of information and ideas, which we felt was very helpful. The spot on the landing with the two armchairs by the window and a view over the bay was a superb place to sit and relax. Wifi and the smart tv's gave easy access to entertainment options through apps such as iPlayer.Despite the small size of the village, the amenities are adequate. The chip shop sells a good range of food and Cakebreads sells a range of groceries as well as newspapers, fresh bread and cakes. It also sold fresh cooked pizzas one evening. There is another shop selling everything you might need for the beach and a couple of cafes, but, being out of season, these weren't open.The coast path passes the front gate and we enjoyed walks in both directions from here, as well as driving out to walk other sections of the path. The coast path website is comprehensive and a good source of walks and information."

"We have stayed in many lovely cottages over the years, but this is by far the very best! It was the most wonderful "home from home" cottage, with everything we needed. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the views from several aspects were to die for.The information we received from the owners prior to travelling was excellent and such a lovely touch to receive a bottle of wine on arrival. After a 6 hr journey it was definitely needed. There are not many places that we would go back to, but this is certainly one we will be returning to in the future.Thank you |Chris and Denny for sharing your home with us xx"

"You will be able to choose any one of the following three options if we or the accommodation provider cancel your booking, or if you cancel your booking because UK government public health measures mean that it is unlawful to travel to or make use of the accommodation you booked:
Full refund - we will refund you the full amount you have paid for your booking.
Transfer to a later date or different accommodation - subject to availability, we will help you move your booking to a later date or even a new location or accommodation with no admin fees, but please be aware that if the cost of your new accommodation is higher than your original booking, then you’ll need to pay the difference.
Choose an e-voucher to rebook your holiday online - you can request an e-voucher for the amount you have previously paid for your booking. You can then use it to book a new holiday online or towards another existing booking, without having to call us. Vouchers issued in 2020 are valid until 31st December 2020 and can be used on holidays departing before 31st December 2021.
Plus, to give our customers the added flexibility they need at this time, for any bookings with arrival dates on or before 31 December 2020, the following applies:
Pay for your 2020 break just 3 weeks before you go - to give you more time to pay for your holiday during these uncertain times, we’ve moved the balance due date for bookings with arrival dates up to 31st December 2020 to just 21 days before your holiday is due to start. If you choose to cancel your holiday before your balance due date, then we will waive your liability for the remainder of the balance and no further amount will be collected from you. If you choose to cancel on or after your balance due date, then you will need to pay the cancellation charges (according to the number of days before the start of your holiday) as set out in the cancellation charges table which you can find in your booking conditions, as well as any applicable booking fees, admin charges or insurance premiums that you owe. *If you have booked a property that is stated to sleep 10 people or more and your booking begins between 1 September and 31 December 2020, your balance due date will remain at 12 weeks prior to the holiday start date as set out in the booking conditions."
